This paper proposes a posture recognition system that can be applied for medical surveillance. The proposed method estimates human posture using mobilenetV2 and long short-term memory (LSTM) to extract the important features of an image. The output of the system was a fully estimated skeleton. We used seven human indoor postures, including lying, sitting, crouching, standing, walking, fighting, and falling, and classified them. The output results are the extraction of the human skeleton and the corresponding labels for the poses. We first experiment with classification using machine learning. The system only achieves approximately 88% accuracy because it is not able to classify similar postures, such as standing and walking. This difference can be caused by the extraction of features for static images, and the machine learning classification algorithm has not reached accuracy with training data. Therefore, we proposed the integration of the LSTM model into the proposed system. LSTM learns the features of the skeleton and provides classification results for postures. As a result, our system improved the accuracy by up to 99%. Similar postures, such as standing and walking, have improved accuracy by up to 7%. In addition, we performed the system on the Jetson Nano hardware. The results show that it can run on a low-profile (44% CPU and 2.1 frames per second) that is capable of applications for remote patient monitoring devices.INDEX TERMS Openpose, long short-term memory, posture detection, skeleton model, intelligent healthcare.
The purpose of the study is to estimate the air quality improvement in the urban areas of HoChiMinh City (HCMC) through resident's willingness to pay (WTP) by using contingent valuation method. 300 residents were chosen to participate in an interview with the structured questionnaire and the open-ended question about their WTP. The results show that with the performance of ambient air in HCMC, 88.41% of respondents are willing to pay for this "particular commodity". The average WTP for a 50% reduction of concentration of air pollutants in next 5 years in HCMC, where respondents live and work was 19,732 VNĐ/household/month, accounted 0.15% of a household income. Positive WTP values reveal that residents have a choice between better air quality and rapid growth of the economy, which also means that air quality is really their considerable economic value. Therefore, this value should be considered in the costbenefit analysis of projects or programs relating to air quality. The results are the source of useful information for policy makers to decide in the investment and policy measures to reduce impacts on air quality in the process of economic development.
Background: The current study intended to determine whether serum albumin level and urine protein/creatinine rate (uPCR) are appropriate predictors of severe lupus nephritis in childhood-onset SLE. Objectives: Following a cross-sectional single-center design, 85 LN children referred to the National Children Hospital, Ha Noi, Viet Nam, from 6/2019 to 6/2020 were recruited. Renal biopsy was performed for all participants. Methods: Following a cross-sectional single-center design, 85 LN children referred to the National Children Hospital, Ha Noi, Viet Nam, from 6/2019 to 6/2020 were recruited. Renal biopsy was performed for all participants. Results: The mean SLEDAI score of all patients was 14.69. The proportion of patients with high and very high SLEDAI was 61.2 and 17.6%, respectively. The mean concentration of serum albumin was 28.55 g/L, and the proportion of decreased albumin concentration was 55.3%. The median uPCR was 446.6 mg/mmol in which 76.5% of values were ≥ 200 mg/mmol. Pathological morphology of LN class from I to VI was observed in 0%, 17.6%, 37.6 %, 37.6%, 7.1%, and 0%, respectively. Serum albumin level and uPCR presented the predictive value for severe and active LN (class IV and V); (AUC: 0.725 P < 0.001 for both). Conclusions: Serum albumin and uPCR were appropriate predictors for severe and active LN in Vietnamese children.
Apparently, brand is now gradually becoming an important intangible asset of the business. It is really a sharp and useful tool to help businesses compete and develop sustainably. Today, many customers choose to buy goods because that product is affixed with a famous brand. Therefore, the brand has brought great value to the business. The article focusses on analysing the factors affecting the expansion of Viettel corporation brand from the perspective of customers, thereby proposing recommendations to help Viettel, in particular, and Vietnamese businesses, in general, to expand their brands successfully.
