ABSTRACTLeeches usually live in spring and dirty water deposits. Infestations in humans are caused by the use, drinking or swimming in these waters. Leeches can settle in the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, and larynx by entering the body through the mouth and nose. Leeches that have settled in these zones can lead to nasal obstruction, epistaxis, hemoptysis, stridor and anemia. A 10-year-old male patient who presented with nasopharyngeal leech was presented in this article.
