Upaya pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19 adalah dengan menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, salah satunya dengan rajin mencuci tangan dengan sabun. Kegiatan mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air maupun menggunakan cairan pembersih tangan (hand sanitizer) dapat membunuh virus dan bakteri. Alat pencuci tangan yang tersedia pada fasilitas umum di daerah pedesaan masih terbatas dan biasanya masih membutuhkan kontak tangan agar alat beroperasi. Pembuatan tempat hand sanitizer dengan sistem pedal pijak sebagai teknologi tepat guna yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat tanpa disentuh dengan tangan (touchless) diharapkan dapat membantu mencegah penularan Covid-19 khususnya di tempat ibadah seperti halnya masjid maupun musala. Tempat hand sanitizer sistem pedal pijak ini dibuat dan didedikasikan untuk warga yang melakukan ibadah di Musala Baiturrohim desa Candinegoro kecamatan Wonoayu kabupaten Sidoarjo Jawa Timur. Wawancara dilakukan kepada warga setempat untuk mengetahui manfaat yang dirasakan terhadap alat yang telah dibuat. Hasil wawancara menyebutkan bahwa warga merasa terbantu dengan adanya tempat hand sanitizer sistem pedal pijak ini karena dapat mempermudah warga yang melakukan ibadah dalam menjaga kebersihan diri. Pembuatan teknologi tepat guna ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran warga setempat tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan diri dengan sering membersihkan tangan guna memutus penyebaran Covid-19 dan mewujudkan masyarakat desa yang sehat.
Vibration is a common issue in the automobile system, especially in an old car. Several causes that may generate vibration are vibration at idle and engine RPM. Vibration can decrease the ride comfort and become one of the contributing factors that cause an accident or emergency condition. Therefore, vibration evaluation to know the vibration characteristics of the classic car must be conducted to diagnose when and under what condition the vibration occurs. This paper aims to know the vibration level and vibration characterization of the classic car from car engine as the vibration source to some selected positions at low-frequency engine idle speed by using Transfer Path Analysis (TPA). This research used a 1991-manufactured car. Finite element calculation, simulation, and experimental modal analysis were used to determine the dynamic characteristics of the car for the natural frequencies. The natural frequencies that generated from the experimental modal analysis are convoluted by operational acceleration when the car engine was turning on which equal to operational force as transfer path analysis. In conclusion, TPA can be used to know the vibration characteristics in Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) issues by tracing the flow of vibration using operational force.
Fish farming in buckets or popularly known as Budikdamber can be an alternative as a food security solution especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. It can be a solution for community who have limited land for fish and vegetable cultivation. Budikdamber is appropriate technology that can be implemented easily at home with small cost and is able to meet the nutritional needs of the community. The work system of Budikdamber is cultivating fish and vegetables in one bucket which is simple aquaponic system (polyculture of fish and vegetables). The result of this Budikdamber can harvest two types of commodities simultaneously in the form of catfish and vegetables. Community service was carried out in Simomulyo Baru Village, Sukomanunggal District, Surabaya, in March up to April 2021. The objectives of this community service are providing information and giving training on how to use the narrow land for fish and vegetable cultivation in buckets so that people can maintain food security during this pandemic. People in Simomulyo feel the benefits of Budikdamber because of the presence of catfish as animal protein and fresh vegetables that can be harvested at the harvest time. It can economically help reduce the risk of kitchen costs and it can be a solution for food security from the local community.
