An initial-boundary value problem for quasi-linear model of complex heat exchange (where the conductive and radiative contributions are simultaneously taken into account), describing the mechanism of endovenous laser ablation, is studied. The existence and uniqueness of a solution is proved. An iterative procedure to find a solution is constructed and its convergence is established. The efficiency of the iterative procedure is illustrated by conducted numerical simulations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
