The purpose of this study was to determine the pair of synonyms and nuances of the meaning of the pair of synonyms of the Indonesian mental attitude adjective. This research is qualitative research using the descriptive method. The data of this study are the basic adjectives of the inner attitude of Indonesian. The results of this study indicate that (1) there are 26 pairs of Indonesian mental attitude adjectives that are proven to be synonymous and (2) all pairs of Indonesian mental attitude adjectives that prove synonymous with meaning nuances. Not all Indonesian mental attitude adjectives that have synonym and most synonymous pairs are adjunctive nuances of meaning on cognitive meaning anda a small part of emotive menaing.
Wisran Hadi in the novel Persiden revealed the social problems that occur in the Minangkabau community. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the type of problems or social criticism in the novel Persiden Wisran Hadi. These results indicate that the novel form of social criticism Persiden Hadi Wisra work covering issues of culture, customs, religion, law, and politics. These social problems are conveyed in a direct and indirect form. Clearly, this criticism is a critique of (1) the problem of government bureaucracy that is not functioning as it should; (2) a Mamak who does not understand the condition of a nephew and Sumando who likes to interfere in matters that exist within the wife; (3) the rapidly growing number of political parties; (4) community morals that deviate from religious norms, the function of surau, and changes in beliefs; and (5) traffic rules, demonstrations, and building placement guidelines do not comply with the law.
Absolute synonymy never encountered in any language. The near synonyms still have different meanings, though only in nuances. If there is no difference in nuance between the pairs of synonyms then one of the words will disappear from the vocabulary. This study aims to explain the nuances of meaning and kind of pair synonym sensory response in Indonesian adjektive. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that: (1) not all sensory responses Indonesian adjectives have a pairs synonym; (2) there are different nuance of meaning in every pair of synonymous sensory response adjektive; and (3) only two kind of synonymy in pairs synonymous sensory response adjectives was found, they are complete and absolute, and incomplete and not absolute. Synonyms word can concretize the use a personal language, so that trought language the communication is clear interesting. Paying attention to nuances of meaning that is synonymous Indonesian adjectives in speaking and writing can add color, sharpness, and precision of the wording.
This study aims to (1) clarify tasting synonymous adjective pairs in Indonesian; (2) determine the kind of synonymy couple tasting in Indonesian adjective; and (3) determining the adjective pairs tasting nuances of meaning in Indonesian. This study is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. This research data is a basic adjectives Indonesian used in a variety of oral and written standards in formal situation and informal situations, namely Kompas Online, Talkshow Doctor OZ Indonesia, and Mata Najwa. This research uses qualitative data analysis according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of research. Firstly, not all Indonesian tasting adjectives have synonymous pairs. Secondly, there is only one kind of synonym in synonymous couples of Indonesian tasting adjective, ie synonymous incomplete and not absolute. Thirdly, the syntactic coupling adjective pairs tasting synonymous with the nuance of meaning in cognitive meaning and a small portion of the nuances of meaning to the emotive meanings. Paying attention to the nuances of synonyms of Indonesian adjectives that are synonymous in speech and writing can add color, sharpness, and accuracy of word selection.
