There was executed the analysis of morbidity and disability rate in workers with occupational diseases (poisoning) of the Republic ofBashkortostan for the periodfrom 2010 to 2014. There is reflected the sectoral distribution of the relative indices of the occupational morbidity. There are selected factors of labor and the labor process, promoting occupational diseases (OD). The leading place in the structure of primary morbidity is held by OD related to physical overload and functional overexertion of certain organs and systems; the second - by diseases associated with exposure to physicalfactors; the third - by diseases from exposure to workplace allergens. This is followed by illness (intoxications) caused by exposure to chemical factors, industrial aerosols. The share of OD from exposure to biological agents and professional tumors in total accounts for about 2.0% of all cases of OD revealed for the first time.
The retrospective analysis of the morbidity rate, the loss of the workability in health workers of the Republic of Bashkortostan with occupational diseases over the period from 1960 to 2015 was executed. The distribution of absolute and relative indices of the occupational morbidity rate by years is presented. The factors of the production environment and the labor process contributing to the development of occupational diseases are singled out. The leading place in the structure of the primary morbidity is held by occupational diseases associated with chemical (toxic-allergic) factors, the second - with diseases associated with the impact of physical factors; the third - diseases from the influence of biological factors.
Introduction. Currently, many agro-industrial countries are experiencing a rapid intensification of agricultural and livestock production, which can critically affect the health of workers employed in agriculture, one of the five leading sectors of the economy with an increased risk of occupational diseases. Materials and methods. In order to assess the lost years of healthy life due to occupational diseases among agricultural workers of the Republic of Bashkortostan, 1,199 cases of chronic occupational morbidity of workers over 57 years (1960-2017) were analyzed; the number of years of life not lived or lived insufficiently due to this disease was calculated (the DALY index). Results. During the analyzed period, 41 occupational diseases was diagnosed as a result of exposure to four groups of the main harmful production factors of the working environment and the labour process: physical (43.6%), physical overload (38.9%), harmful chemicals (14.0%) and biological factors (3.5%). It was found that agricultural workers lost 2,256.1 years of healthy life due to occupational diseases, 73.2% accounted for dorsopathies, occupational diseases from vibration exposure and soft tissue diseases. The frequency of detection of occupational diseases and their clinical characteristics are reflected in the total number of years of healthy life lost. More than 75% of a total load of occupational diseases was caused by physical factors together with physical overload. A five-year delay in forming occupational diseases reduces the total lost years of healthy life by 17.0% and a ten-year delay by 33.5%. Limitations. One thousand one hundred ninety-nine cases were assessed over 57 years of observation when studying occupational morbidity, which is a sufficient reference sample. Conclusion. Quantitative analysis of the DALY index due to occupational disease allows to assess the likely medical and social damage by the number of years of healthy life lost for patients and justify priority measures aimed at reducing this damage.
The health of employees is an integral part of the human potential of the organization, which has a special dual significance. On the one hand, this is a necessary condition for the realization of other components of human potential; on the other hand, it reflects the quality of the productive and social environment of the organization. The study of the psychosocial aspect of employee health is a relatively new area in the field of occupational medicine. The proposed work explores the psychosocial well-being of workers in industrial enterprises and the factors that determine it. The information base of the research is the results of a sociological survey of workers of four large industrial enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan: UMPO, UGOK, VNZM and Bashneft-service NPZ, as well as financial reports of enterprises and information published on their official websites. The general characteristics of enterprises are given, the method of coefficient analysis is used to evaluate their financial and economic well- being. In general, the respondents demonstrate a positive psychosocial well-being: more than 45% of respondents are completely satisfied with their lives, more than 70% of respondents assess their health as good or excellent, more than 60% of respondents do not consider the search for a new job a difficult task. Factor analysis of the psychosocial well-being of workers is performed by two methods: order regression and classification trees. A comparative analysis of the conclusions drawn as a result of the application of these methods showed that some of them coincide, while some of them differ. To select the preferred method, a comparison of the prediction accuracy was made, showing that both methods provide almost the same accuracy. Therefore, the reliable conclusions are those that are obtained using both methods, namely: self-estimation of health deteriorates while aging; men are more optimistic about their health compared to women; with age, the search for a new job is considered as an increasingly difficult task; men show greater satisfaction with life compared to women; the place of work has an effect on a degree of life satisfaction.
