This study aims to determine the appropriateness of character education content with the fourth grade students' books based on 2013 curriculum based on the theme of "my hero." This study uses a qualitative approach to the types of content analysis research. The source of data in this study is the 2013 curriculum student book with the theme "My hero" revised edition 2017 for fourth grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques used in this study are documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative data analysis techniques include data acquisition, data reduction or reduction, inference, and data analysis. Character education with a grade IV student book my hero theme is quite in accordance with a percentage of 55 %. The highest character value is the nationalist value with a percentage of 47.28 %. The highest nationalist value appears because it is in accordance with my hero theme, while the percentage of religious values is 7,27%. Independent value indicates percentage percentage of 25.45%, while the percentage of the value of mutual cooperation of 9.09%. Integrity value shows a percentage of 10.91%. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian muatan pendidikan karakter dengan buku siswa kelas IV SD berbasis K13 tema pahlawanku". Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis jenis penelitian analisis isi (content analysis). Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku tematik terpadu kurikulum 2013 tema pahlawanku edisi revisi 2017 untuk siswa kelas IV SD/MI. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif meliputi pengadaan data, pengurangan atau reduksi data, inferensi, dan analisis data. Kesesuian muatan pendidikan karakter dengan buku siswa kelas IV tema pahlawanku cukup sesuai dengan persentase sebesar 55%. Nilai karakter yang tertinggi yaitu nilai nasionalis dengan persentase sebesar 47,28%. Nilai nasionalis kemunculannya paling tinggi karena sesuai dengan tema pahlawanku. Sementara persentase nilai religius yaitu 7,27%. Nilai mandiri menunjukkan persentase sebesar 25,45%, sedangkan persentase nilai gotong royong sebesar 9,09%. Nilai integritas menunjukkan persentase sebesar 10,91%.
This study aims to describe the development process, validity, and effectiveness of Indonesian language teaching materials based on local wisdom in historical narrative text material for fifth grade students at SDN 5 Kebondalem Banyuwangi. The type of research used is development research or better known as the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model. In this study, the steps for developing the Borg and Gall R&D model were only carried out up to the eighth stage, namely product trials. This is because at the eighth stage of development research it can be concluded the feasibility and effectiveness of the product being developed. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, validation, questionnaires, and tests. Validity results by the three expert validators of media, language, and materials as well as practitioners show that the Indonesian language teaching materials based on local wisdom that have been developed get a score of 88.1 with very decent criteria. The product validity score of the student response questionnaire is 91% which is classified as very good. The effectiveness of teaching material products that have been developed in terms of the learning outcomes completeness score of 86,36 is classified as very good criteria. The level of product effectiveness when viewed from the student response questionnaire shows a final score 87 so that it belongs to the very effective category. Based on the test results, it shows that the developed Indonesian language teaching materials are very effective in the learning process of historical narrative text material in class V of elementary schools.
Textbooks are one of the teaching materials compiled by a person or group of people who are experts in their fields as instructional tools. Textbooks are arranged based on the applicable curriculum because textbooks have a function as the main source of information for students. Therefore, textbooks need to be evaluated for feasibility before being used. The purpose of this study was to find out the content of character values and the feasibility of the contents of the Integrated Thematic book Lingkungan Sahabat Kita for SD/MI Class V published by Erlangga with the 2013 curriculum criteria. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The evaluation results show that the Erlangga's Thematic Integrated Theme Lingkungan Sahabat Kita for SD/MI Class V published by Erlangga contains 8 character values contained in KI-1 and KI-2. In addition, the feasibility of the contents of the textbook obtained a percentage of 88.54% which was included in the very feasible category for use.
This study aims to analyze people's perceptions regarding the act of begging as a work activity, so that the status of the existence of begging activities can be obtained. This study uses a qualitative research design. The research was conducted in Tulungagung from January 2020 to January 2021. The research subjects were 10 people who had experience interacting with beggars. Collecting data using thematic interviews as an approach. The results of the study showed that the respondents dominantly made the perception that the activity of begging was a work activity. This is indicated by the informant's findings that 1) beggars seek a certain income; 2) begging is considered the easiest alternative to earn money; 3) beggars are considered lazy to work in the formal realm. The perception of begging as a work activity is driven by the perception that beggars apply an attempt to lie by displaying a symbol of poverty to obtain maximum income. So that begging is placed in a fair status with consideration, beggars are individuals who are lazy to work and beggars are parents and people with physical disabilities. Taking into account the existence of prevailing norms, the informants placed the activity of begging as a work activity in a pathological position and had implications for the rejection of the existence of begging activities. Rejection is represented by a response negligence acts as a cultural treatment and arrests, coaching, and repatriation of perpetrators are carried out as institutional treatment.
