Since 2018 the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics has applied a new method of establishing rice production data; namely, the Area Frame Sampling method, which is considered more objective by analyzing satellite images. This causes rice production historical data becomes very limited due to the method differences that may lead to the need of new forecasting method to predict future rice production and target setting. This study aims to provide recommendations on appropriate : (1) forecasting method to predict national rice production number; and (2) method on setting national rice production targets that can produce a robust, realistic, achievable and accountable number. The Backcasting method was used to overcome the limitations of historical data. Trials on various quantitative methods resulted that the double exponential smoothing method was the most recommended method for predicting future national rice production numbers. This study also suggested to integrate quantitative and qualitative methods in establishing national rice production targets. Production target that exceeds optimistic target numbers requires special programs and efforts to achieve them.
Pet lovers in big cities have been growing and tend to increase demand of services in animal health center. Currently, There are no pay services in Depok animal health center. However, due to over increase on demand and limited budget to improve services, local government encourage manager to asses potentially charge. So, This research aims as a preliminary research to assess willingness pet lovers to pay services on Depok animal health center. The primary data gathered by survey from 24 pet lovers who came to Depok animal health center between October-November 2019. Secondary data for benchmarking were obtained from the internet and brochures. The result showed for demographic respondent aspect dominated by women (96%) as housewife (63%), with average allocated budget for pets was 670.000 IDR/month. Respondents came to Depok animal health center was on average 6 times annually with pets were dominated by cats (96%). The average willingness to pay service was 25 583 IDR/service. The charge is relative affordable based on other ones as benchmark
CV Pusaka Bali Persada Kopi Banyuatis (KB) is an industry that processes raw coffee beans into various ready-to-consume coffee products. CV KB experienced a number of problems that had an impact on decreasing competitiveness, such as; production activities not efficient, the occurrence of waste, care and maintenance of machines is less attention. This study aims to (1) identify waste problems and determine priority efforts for handling waste in the CV KB, and (2) analyze the increase in the effectiveness of lean production management in the CV KB. The method used is the analysis of AHP and TPM (5S work culture, eight pillars, and OEE). The results of the identification and analysis carried out, set priorities for handling waste defect (0,367) and over-processing (0,239). The increase in LPM is based on OEE calculations during January to March 2022, which is predicted to increase by 13,04 percent with availability values of 11,32 percent, performance 8,44 percent, and quality 1,57 percent. The prediction of the increase in OEE value that occurs when associated with the total sales obtained by the industry, can result in a prediction of an increase in sales profit of Rp1.552.662,800 for all products sold in 500 g packaging as many as 1890 pcs. CV KB can focus on improving the priority of handling waste, as well as maintaining the quality of machines and production facilities to increase the effectiveness of LPM.
Currently, halal products are one of the factors considered in the marketing process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the level of consumer awareness of halal food and cosmetic products in general which are modernized by religious beliefs. The research was conducted in Bogor City and Regency. SEM-PLS analysis was used in data analysis in this study. The results of the study explain that the factors that influence public awareness of halal products are factors of halal certification, halal exposure, and religious beliefs. While the factors that have no effect are health reasons. Religious belief as a moderating variable will increase the awareness factor of exposure to halal food and health causes. Religious beliefs do not reinforce or absorb the belief factors that influence people's awareness of halal food. keyword: halal, halal awareness, religious belief, halal food, halal cosmetics.
Bogor Regency is one of the districts that has a high dropout rate in basic education. The average dropout rate occurs at the junior high school level, one of which has occured in Benteng Village, especially Gunung Leutik Village, Bogor. The high dropout rate in 2018 showed that the 9-year basic education goals stated in the 1945 Constitution have not been realized. As a form of community service, the academic community of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University in collaboration with SMP Negeri 1 Ciampea and the Nusa Educator Community organized a program named “teaching activities in schools”. The program was held for sixth months, started on August 16, 2021 - January 14, 2021. The activity was initiated by Thematic Community Service Program activities / KKN-T (a regular program of IPB University Students) that was continued by ‘teaching in schools’ program. This program taken place in Mount Leutik Village. Teaching at this school was carried out to students from Open Middle School, Package B, and Package C. The Nusa Educator Community and the IPB University KKNT team carried out program planning, including acceptance and search for new students, preparation of teaching materials and the determination of teaching locations. Furthermore, socialization was carried out simultaneously to the community so that their children who are not yet in school are sent to school. The outputs of this activity were to increase the motivation of students who have dropped out of school to continue education until they graduate and provide knowledge for students so that they are able to achieve graduation according to their level and are able to increase graduation rates at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels in the local area.
