Abstract. Harianto SP, Masruri NW, Winarno GD, Tsani MK, Santoso PJT. 2020. Development strategy for ecotourism management based on feasibility analysis of tourist attraction objects and perception of visitors and local communities. Biodiversitas 21: 689-698. Liwa Botanic Gardens (LBG), Lampung, Indonesia ecotourism development must be carried out as an effort to develop nature tourism with the most careful consideration in its management, without temporary benefits orientation, and the doers must have benchmarks in the process of sustainable development so that the next generation can utilize it in their time. This study aims to determine the management conditions and potential of Tourist Attraction Object (TAO) that have been operating — knowing the perceptions of tourists and local people. The method used is (i) scoring; (ii) assessing the perception of satisfaction of tourists and local people; (iii) doing intensive interviews with area managers and community leaders; (iv) identifying problems using the SWOT matrix; (v) constructing a development strategy. Data collection techniques with accidental sampling method with a total of 130 respondents based on tourist visits at the time of the study. The management of the LBG was previously managed by the Forestry Service until 2016, and in 2017 the management was handed over to the West Lampung Research and Development Agency (Balitbang). The results showed that overall, TAO gets a feasibility rating to be developed. The perception of tourists is quite satisfied with the attractions offered and the services of the manager. The community is satisfied with the ongoing management. The community wants are always to be involved in the development process. Researchers give advice on the examination of the management and marketing system in introducing the LBG to increase local and foreign tourist visitors.
Kata Kunci : Taman Kota Bandar Lampung, Tingkat Kenyamanan, THI ABSTRACT Bandar Lampung is a city that is fast on the development, these would have an impact on the incresing life necessities thus prompt the development to increase the quality and quantity of supporting infrastructure. Berdasarkan hasil preferensi pakan rusa yaitu rumput gajah (Pennisetum purpureum) 25.9 %, rumput sauhen (Penicum colonum) 22.25%, rayutan (Hypoestes polythyrsa) 21.87%, lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala) 21.24% and dedak padi (Dedak oriza sativa) 8.74%.Kata Kunci: Preferensi, Penangkaran, Rusa Sambar, Rusa totol. ABSTRACT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) has built deer sanctuary as a part of conservation effort for sambar deer (Cervus unicolor) and spotted deer (Axis axis), this faunas has suppresed by extinction in its natural habitat which means need to be protected by ex-situ concervation effort. Important to conduct the research with aimed to recognize deer's preference towards its served feeder (drop-in) and its availability. The research conducted in October to
Datar Setuju Resort is the one of six resort located in Register 39 KPHL Batutegi. This area is managed by implementing agroforestry system Research aims to determine amount of stock carbon applied by publics in Register 39 Datar Setuju, held on March 2015 at Register 39 Datar Setuju KPHL Batutegi Tanggamus Regency. Beside to knowing amount of the stock carbon, this research also conducted to determine the dominant vegetation. Reseachers used Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR) and Importance Value Index (IVI) methods to determine the most dominant vegetations and used allometric equation to find out amount biomass and necromass of trees. Research results show that the most dominant vegetation on tree phase was cemara (Casuarina junghuniana) IVI large was 109,91%, for pale phase was dadap (Erythrina sp.) IVI large was 300%, for stake phase was kopi (Coffea arabica) IVI large was 300%, and for seedling phase was rumput teki (Cyperus rotundus) IVI large was 200%. Stock carbons at agroforestry system area Register 39 Datar Setuju KPHL Batutegi on HKm Sinar Harapan amount of 123,33 ton/ha, on HKm Bina Wana Jaya 1 amount of 265,20 ton/ha, and of HKm Bina Wana Jaya 2 amount of 146,20 ton/ha, average of stock carbon value at Register 39 Datar Setuju amount of 178,24 ton/ha. Key words: stock carbon, agroforestry
The development of a tourist attraction must pay attention to the tourists’necessity. To fulfill these needs there are 4 main components that must be fulfilled. This study aims to determine the assessment of tourists to the 4 main components (attraction, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary service) on the natural attractions of the Liwa Botanical Garden. This research was carried out in the Liwa Botanical Garden located in Kubu Perahu Village, Balik Bukit District, Liwa City, West Lampung Regency. Data was collected for 100 tourists by accidental sampling. Data analysis using a likert scale and data scoring. The results showed that of the 4 components of tourist destinations in the KRL object, only the attraction component had adequate value. The three other components (accessibility, safety and ancillary services) are in the sufficient category so that it would be better if there were improvements to the indicators of the 3 other variables such as: addition of public transportation, control of parking areas, addition of food stalls, procurement of lodging for public, improvement of central services information, the addition of public toilets, provided a special place to buy souvenirs, giving pictures of the types of rubbish in the trash, and need to add a communication network spot so that tourists feel more comfortable and enjoy their visit.
