To improve information hiding algorithm, an improved algorithm realizing digital image watermark embedding in the transform domain is presented. On the basis of deeply understanding that the coefficient of a digital image after Discrete wavelet transform has correlation, it carries out discrete cosine transform of the transformed digital image coefficient and then embeds digital watermarks, which makes the algorithm have the characteristics of the two transforms.Experiments showed that this algorithm not only ensures the invisibility of watermark but also has good robustness.
I. INTRODUCTIONAlong with the continual emergence of new algorithm and new technology, image-based information hiding techniques have also made considerable progress. On the basis of LSB information hiding algorithm, predecessors improved and developed a feasible information hiding system which carries out discrete cosine transform (DCT) of the image before information hiding to get DCT coefficient first and then embeds hidden information into the highest order of DCT coefficient, this system maintains LSB algorithm and improves the anti-interference performance of the algorithm. As the DWT technique has a greater influence to image watermarking, for which can be DCT and DWT algorithm for combining pairs of LSB to make further improvements to make this algorithm also has two kinds of transformation properties and enhance the robustness properties.
