The purpose of this study were to investigate the factors influencing total quality management modeling for a sub-district municipality, and to create a suitable total quality management model for a sub-district municipality. This research utilized a qualitative method by use of in-depth interviews. The respondents were 30 leaders from the sub-district municipality offices. Seven factors were used in the measurement, which included [i] leadership; [ii] training; [iii] organizational structure; [iv] communication; [v] incentives; [vi] measurements and evaluation; and [vii]teamwork. The demographic findings revealed male respondents as the majority who had an average age between 40-49 years, and had between 6-10 years of working experience. The findings on the significant factors for modeling the total quality management for a sub-district municipality explained that successful public organizations required leaders who possess the seven factors, whereas management of strong teamwork, appropriate trainings, incentives and evaluation, and effective communication contributed to public organizational success.
The construction sector is regarded as an economic sector that plays an important role in driving the country's economy, especially in infrastructure development and urban development. Similarly, construction section has vital important in Bangkok, Thailand. However, the promotion of entrepreneur’s success in construction business is one of the challenges. Several businesses could not get success in the competitive market. In this way, the current study is an attempt to investigate the role of spiritual leadership, contractor’s attitudes towards risks, management innovation and organizational culture on business entrepreneurs’ success in construction industry. A mixed method approach is used in this study in which the data collection is made through questionnaire and in-depth interviews. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is employed to analyze the data. It is found that; spiritual leadership, contractor’s attitudes towards risks, management innovation and organizational culture has major influence on business entrepreneurs’ success in construction industry of Bangkok, Thailand.
The goal of this research was to study about quality management format across sub-district administrative organization by interview using structured in-depth questionnaires format as a tool for collecting data from executives and other managers in total of 125 people. The sample groups were specifically chosen from 10 of Khaerai Sub-district Administration Organization. Data were analyzed by using score from the questionnaires and findings a percentage of full score. The result showed the essential element of a concept idea in Quality management Format across the organization of Sub-District administrative Organization namely 1) Leadership: 100 percent of executives and managers who had a good score in behavior or leading role affected to the organization. Leader had to know how to make idealistic and creative decision with a clear objective. A good leader had to work justly and be responsible when providing service and devote to the public that affect the whole society. 2) Training, 97.6 percent showed that there should be a training at least once a month. 92 percent gained more knowledge and understanding in particular topic from the training. 93.6 percent showed that the best and suitable training for organization was with tools or personal direct training emphasized on WALK Rally model and learning from the real situations. 3) Structure: there should have the direct command that supported service people. The practical organization should have to provide individual for the right job with effective communication. 4) Communication: Crucial to organization and service. That drove the management forward and acted as a tool to future success. 5) Rewarding: 100 percent result showed that there should be rewarding criterion or request for employees who showed diligence, endurance, and responsibility to one’s duty 6) Evaluation process affected 96 percent of the service and organization development in improving working potential of the organization In conclusion, executives and manager of Khaerai Sub-district Administration Organization commented and proposed on the 6 main element of Quality management Format across Sub-District Administrative Organization have the highest score in the questionnaire.
The Thai food industry has faced the crisis but government has devised strategies and policies to revitalize the industry successfully. Thailand is considered as one of the most attractive destinations in the world for international tourists and expected to remain attractive destination due to its landscape, culture and tourism opportunities. The current research effort investigated the business growth influenced by efficient human capital, suitable leadership style and effective knowledge management practices. The study found that human capital influences the knowledge management and business growth, the leadership also found to be statistically significant that it influences the knowledge management and business growth, moreover the mediation role of knowledge management has been reported as statistically significant, that effective knowledge management practices fully mediates relation among leadership, human capital and business growth. The study was conducted during pandemic restrictions, the future studies must be conducted with larger sample size and in comparison, with other related associated industries.
