This study aims to analyze the Determinant Consumption of Curly Red Chili in Households in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research is a quantitative research, using primary data obtained from April to August 2018. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, Research Results Shows when demand increases then prices also increase and vice versa. The price of substitution also affects when there is a decrease or increase in the substitution, the price of chili also experiences the same thing, while the number of families does not significantly affect the number of requests for dried chili.
This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth (x), on the human development index (y) in South Sumatra in 2016-2020. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is panel data regression. The results of the t test show that economic growth (x) has a positive and insignificant effect on the human development index (y). The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable by 32.58% and the remaining 67.42% is explained by other factors outside this model.
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business activities capable of expanding employment and providing the economic services for society widely, and also play roles in equalizing and increasing people's income, encouraging economic growth, and realizing national stability. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) also play an essential role in improving the community's economy at the city and regency levels. This study aims to analyze the empirical evidence that the capabilities and environmental factors carried out by MSMEs have a positive effect on innovation, both product innovation and process innovation. The method used in this study is the Structural Equation Model PLS analysis. The population in this study is the total number of MSMEs which registered with the Department of Trade and Industry in 2020 as many as 31591 businesses. The data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires. Measurement models are assessed by testing the reliability of each item, converging validity and discriminant validity. The results of the analysis show empirical evidence that innovation capability and environmental factors carried out by the MSME sector have a significant positive effect on innovation, both product innovation and process innovation. This study concludes that innovation capability and environmental factors in the MSME sector can increase innovation and have an impact on the sustainability of MSMEs. The contribution of this research is that the capability of innovation and environmental factors can increase the innovation made by MSMEs.
This study aims to analyze the income and break-even point of broiler farming in OKU Regency. The research method used is a survey method and the sampling method used is a saturated sampling method with a total sample of 8 broiler breeders spread across Lubuk Raja District and Lubuk Batang District, OKU District. The study was carried out from February to May 2022. The research data was processed using a mathematical equation to calculate the income of broiler business and the break-even point of broiler business in OKU Regency, then to analyze the break-even point of broiler business, it was analyzed using BEP analysis. The results showed that The average income of broiler farming in OKU Regency is Rp. 57.167.110/year. Break Even Point (BEP) in broiler chicken business production is 38,641.97 heads/year, BEP price is IDR 18.683,33/kg in a year and BEP income is IDR 752.291/head/year.
Coffee is a leading commodity in the plantation sub-sector. The value of coffee commodities to the Indonesian economy can be seen from the volume (amount) of exports and the value of coffee exports. The results showed that based on the research results, the average income of smallholder coffee farmers in Semende Darat Laut District was Rp. 37,320,257.00 (Rp/ha/year) The average contribution is 87.2%. This means that 87.2% of people's coffee farming contributes to the total family income in Semende Darat Laut District, Muaraenim Regency. Variables of production (X1), price (X2), revenue (X3) and land area have a significant effect on the income of smallholder coffee farmers. While the pesticide variable (X5) does not significantly affect the income of smallholder coffee farmers in Semende Darat Laut District, Muaraenim Regency.
