Providing experienced and skilled people at all levels in the printing business are essential elements to building a business model that can help business performance towards global standards. The global printing industry issue is always related to print quality and productivity, moreover as a priority in achieving customer satisfaction. The issues of quality and productivity are relevant to be addressed to determine the survival of commercial printers. This study explored the Senior Managers and the owner of the companies in Malaysia Small and Medium Printing enterprises' perspective on quality management implementation. This research focuses on SME commercial printers in Malaysia and ten Senior Managers and the owner of the companies have been interviewed. This empirical study derived on three main categories, including the advantages and challenges of implementing quality management and the strategies adopted in sustaining it. The city today is conceptualized using terms of making cities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. The concept of creative cities began to be discussed when the Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN) was formed as part of the creative industry development program. The ecotourism concept is one aspect that must be implemented in creative cities. The implementation of ecotourism must be concerned with a sustainable environment and involve society as a tourist. According to the direction of the Indonesian president that environmental sustainability is the primary goal of Indonesia’s development. Jepara, as a developing district in Indonesia, has the potential to be developed as a strategic and policy framework as a benchmark for other districts/cities in Indonesia. This research aims to serve as an overview of a conceptual framework that must be considered to develop creative cities and ecotourism in Indonesia. The results show that the conceptual issue correlated with creative city and ecotourism must be handled and accommodated to facilitate the development of creative city and ecotourism. This framework can support further research in this developing concept and can be implemented in other developing districts or cities.
This study aims to determine the profile of the printing industry from the point of view of the factors that influence the success of the industry. The influencing factors are marketing and sales and government regulations. Data were collected using the documentation method from literature and regulatory studies and analyzed by using qualitative data triangulation techniques. The results show that the profile of the printing industry in Indonesia is unique in terms of industrial classification. This is following applicable government regulations. Marketing and sales aspects show good results based on empirical studies of government reports. From the analysis, it can be seen that clarity of government regulations is needed for the sustainability and success of this industry to support the national agenda. The development of a tourist area that has eco-tourism potential has three potential development directions; the development of conservation, the development of tourist areas, and the development of the local economy. However, local economic development has other benefits as a positive follow-up impact, namely strengthening the creative economy. The purpose of this paper is to explain the potential of ecotourism is used for Creative Industry Enforcement. The research design used is the case study, by examining a problem through a special case from a single unit but analyzed in-depth and validated by selected respondents. The findings of this paper lead to the development of ecotourism potentials by providing critical analysis for Creative Industry Enforcement. The development of ecotourism potential requires careful planning to obtain optimal benefits. To optimize the benefits, input through critical analysis on ecotourism potential to Creative Industry Enforcement is needed, specifically in terms of the printing industry.
