Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) is one of the significant current discussions in the health fraternity. It encompasses multidimensional indicators and serves the purpose of evaluating health quality among patients. Patients' perceptions of the impact of disease and treatment and the indicators such as physical, psychological, social function and well being are normally investigated. However there is no clear suggestion of which indicators contributed more than others. The arbitrary nature of HRQoL paves the way for fuzzy theory in evaluation of indicators. This paper describes the application of a fuzzy decision making method in ranking indicators of HRQoL among kidney patients. Four experts in health fraternity were selected as decision makers to elicit information regarding health related status of chronic kidney disease patients over eight HRQoL indicators. The decision makers were required to rate the regularity of experiencing health-related problems in linguistic judgment among the patients. The five linguistics variables were used as input data to a modified version of Fuzzy Simple Additive Weight decision making model. The modified six-step method was possible to tap the extent of decision makers' opinions on the severity of HRQoL experienced by the patients. It is shown that the indicator of role-physical recorded the lowest problematic level while the indicator of mental health recorded the highest problematic level experienced by the patients. The ranking signifies the impact of the indicators to health quality specifically the chronic kidney disease patients.
In this manuscript, we use ψ,ϕ-weak contraction to generalize coincidence point results which are established in the context of partially ordered b-metric spaces. The presented work explicitly generalized some recent results from the existing literature. Examples are also provided to show the authenticity of the established work.
This study is concerned with the existence and uniqueness results for fuzzy differential equations (FDEs). The existence result of FDEs in the space of linear correlated (LC) fuzzy number with LC-differentiability is the goal of this work. Linear FDEs of first order in the space of LC-fuzzy number mostly have many solutions and sometimes have no solutions. Existence theory insures the existence of unique solution of FDEs. Therefore, we propose to study the existence results of LC-fuzzy solution of FDEs of first order. The existence criteria for the unique LC-fuzzy solution for both symmetric and nonsymmetric basic fuzzy number will be studied in this work. Some examples are given to show the usability of the criteria for a unique LC-fuzzy solution. The plots of the fuzzy solutions of examples are also provided.
Health Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) is one of the escalating subjects used for assessing health condition among patients who suffer specific diseases or ailments. It has been known that dimensions of HRQoL are able to mirror one's overall health condition using mainly standard statistical technique. However, devising the extent of contribution of multiple dimensions towards overall health conditions is not straight forward as the arbitrary nature of HRQoL dimensions. Therefore this paper aims to propose a model to explain the relationship between HRQoL dimensions and overall health condition using a matrix driven fuzzy linear regression. An experiment was conducted to measure the strength of the relationship among elderly people via judgment provided by ten decision makers. The health condition linguistic data and scaled data of regularity of experiencing health-related problems among elderly people were given by the decision makers. The five stepwise computations based on matrix-driven fuzzy linear regression were proposed to describe the relationship. It is found that nearly forty six percent variations in overall health condition of elder people were explained by the eights HRQoL dimensions. The employment of matrix-driven multivariate fuzzy linear regression model has successfully identified the strength of the relationship between multi dimensions of HRQoL and overall health condition in the case of elderly people.
In this paper, existence, uniqueness, and Hyers-Ulam stability for the solution of second-order fuzzy differential equations (FDEs) are studied. To deal a physical model, it is required to insure whether unique solution of the model exists. The natural transform has the speciality to converge to both Laplace and Sumudu transforms only by changing the variables. Therefore, this method plays the rule of checker on the Laplace and Sumudu transforms. We use natural transform to obtain the solution of the proposed FDEs. As applications of the established results, some nontrivial examples are provided to show the authenticity of the presented work.
