The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge, attitudes and skills of PKK mothers in Gue Gajah Village regarding verticulture shelf assembly techniques, proper business management, diversification of verticultural processed food and professional marketing using a mobile application. Implementation activities will begin with the coordination and socialization stage with partners for the implementation of activities, then proceed with training on diversification of processed food products. The next activity is to provide counseling on business management, and ways to develop it. Providing counseling on business management, and ways to develop it. Furthermore, partners will be facilitated in making mobile application digital marketing applications so as to facilitate the marketing process. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that partners have increased their knowledge and skills in improving horticultural cultivation vertically. Long-term planning on the use of a marketing android application to increase sales of vegetables. This application is expected to be one of the models in tools for marketing vegetable products in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. The continuation of this program can also be carried out by forming partners or partners for Study Programs within the University of Syiah Kuala to support the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Students will later do an internship at Dudi Partners with conditions that have been agreed upon by both parties.
The western region of Aceh Province is very famous for its abundant resources, especially in the agricultural sector. Almost half of the population in the western region of Aceh Province work in the agricultural sector. Provision of sufficient jobs in the agricultural sector will offset the addition of labor, so that unemployment in the western region of Aceh Province can be reduced. Thus, open unemployment will also be reduced and will improve the regional economy and the welfare of the people in the region.The research objective was to determine the effect of the minimum wage on employment in the agricultural sector and to determine the effect of investment on employment in the agricultural sector in the western region of Aceh Province. The analysis used in this research is multiple regression analysis using panel data. The result of this research is that the minimum wage has a negative effect on ISG. on employment absorption, while GRDP and investment have a positive and sig. on the absorption of labor in the agricultural sector in the western region of Aceh Province.
This study aims to analyze the effect of transaction costs on the selection of marketing channels by Gayo Arabica coffee farmers in the Central Aceh and Bener Meriah districts. This study uses a transaction cost economics approach (TCE) to explain the choice between cooperatives collectors and exporters' traders. Identification of transaction cost variables that affect marketing channel selection by farmers in Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah districts using the probit model with E-Views 7.0 software. The results show that the transaction costs that affect the farmers’ decision in choosing marketing channels to collectors from cooperatives in Central Aceh Regency are the amount of time to seek price information and dummy access to prices and prices received by farmers. Meanwhile, in Bener Meriah Regency, transaction costs that affect farmers' decisions in choosing marketing channels to collectors from cooperatives are the price received by farmers, dummy access to credit to traders, and the length of payment from traders.
