He has been on the panel of instructors of Pakistan Library Association's Computer Training Center, Lahore, from 1998-2003, where he taught library automation to working librarians and students of library schools. Overall he has 13 years' experience of academic institutions, including 10 years as Systems Librarian in the institutions of higher education in Pakistan. He was team lead for implementation of ILS in 9 AKU libraries across three continents.
