Functional foods are food that consumed, as usual, has a physiological effect and can reduce the effect of chronic disease. One of them is probiotic beverages. Probiotic beverages that have been widely known overtime was produced by a dairy house. This product could have been expensive due to the cost of raw materials. The alternative raw material such as the use of extracted cassava juice may reduce the price of the final product. The aims of this research were to study the effects of culture comparison between characteristics of the probiotic beverage from cassava juice, and get the best culture comparison that produces the best probiotic characteristics of the lactic beverage fermentation from cassava juice. This research applied qualitative experiment method in Lactobacillus acidophilus and Streptococcus thermophiles as an inoculum evaluated. Serial in culture ratio respectively 20:50; 30:50; 40:50; and 50:50. The observed research were pH value, viscosity, total lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and activities test against bacteria Escherichia coli. The result showed that the best culture comparison qualified as probiotics criteria was 50:50. It was having pH value 4,1; viscosity 0,706 g/mL; total LAB 2,1x106 cfu/mL and activity bacteria Escherichia coli was 5,3 mm.

Dysbiosis is a condition where there is an imbalance in the number of microorganisms in the human digestive tract. Basically, in normal conditions, colonies of microorganisms tend to act as normal flora that helps the process of nutrition digestion and maintain the immune system. However, when the number of colonies increases significantly, the body will begin to experience various diseases symptoms. The occurrence of dysbiosis in the end will be able to cause systemic abnormalities, such as interference with the absorption of nutrients that potentially cause metabolic abnormalities. Probiotics are live microorganisms which when administered in appropriate doses will benefit the health of the host. The ability of probiotics in symbiosis with microorganisms that exist in the intestine can suppress the growth rate of harmful bacteria (pathogens), and in the end will be able to improve the immune system. Setiaratu area is an area that borders the location of Tasikmalaya Ministry of Health Poltekkes. In this community service, outreach activities and creation of leaflets about the importance of probiotics consumption as an effort to prevent the occurrence of dysbiosis has been conducted in the district of Setiaratu. This community service was carried out in conjunction with Community Service Program of Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya. After this PKM activity, it is hoped that the public can be expected to increase knowledge about dysbiosis and the use of probiotics to prevent and curative dysbiosis, especially in Setiaratu area.

Kelurahan Kahuripan merupakan wilayah yang satu Kecamatan dengan Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya. dipilih karena merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang banyak mendapatkan bantuan PKH (Program Keluarga Harapan). Banyaknya jumlah penerima PKH ini menjadi salah satu indikator belum adanya kemandirian ekonomi keluarga yang dapat menanggulangi kemiskinan dan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Tujuan dari pengabmas ini yaitu mewujudkan wirausaha baru, , kemampuan pemasaran produk, mensosialisasikan kiat untuk mencarikan modal usaha bagi kader. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan, workshop dan pendaftaran IUMK. Hasil. Setelah diproduksi dilakukan analisis peluang pasar, dan yang memungkinkan untuk diproduksi dan dipasarkan yaitu minuman beras kencur. Peserta terdapat peningkatan nilai posttest dengan rata-rata 18.75% . Produk akan didistribusikan langsung ke apotek yang berada diwilayah kota Tasikmalaya dan sekitarnya. Izin usaha diusulkan atas nama ketua kader kelurahan Kahuripan yaitu Ibu Elih Suryati dengan 9120007890197. Simpulan Tercapainya target luaran yang telah direncanakan diantaranya terbangunnya jiwa enterpreuneur, peserta mengetahui strategi marketing yang baik, terpilihnya minuman beras kencur sebagai produk yang akan dipasarkan, peserta sudah mendapatkan pelatihan kemanan produk. Peserta sudah mendapatkan sertifikat izin usaha. Saran untuk produk yang akan dipasarkan yaitu perlu dilakukan pengurusan perizinan PIRT ke Dinas Kesehatan.

Abstrak: Kemandirian masyarakat secara ekonomi diperlukan dalam megentaskan rantai kemiskinan dengan adanya Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). PKH yang menjadi program Pemerintah diharapkan menjadi program transisi dalam memutus mata rantai kemiskinan. Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya yang merupakan bagian dari Kota Tasikmalaya melalui perannya dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi khususnya dalam Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan status kesehatan warga dan meningkatkan kemandirian warga secara ekonomi melalui pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) khusunya Kunyit yang memiliki khasiat pengobatan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan transfer ilmu melaui penyuluhan dan pelatihan dari tim Dosen Jurusan Farmasi Poltekkes Kemenkes serta demonstrasi pengolahan kunyit untuk meningkatkan nilai jual secara ekonomi. Hasil yang diperoleh kader kelurahan kahuripan kecamatan tawang sudah mampu memanfaatkan kunyit sebagai minuman kesehatan dan bisa memproduksinya sendiri dan sudah siap dilakukan izin P-IRT sehingga bisa dipasarkan dan bernilai ekonomi.Kata Kunci: Pengabdian masyarakat, Tanaman Obat Keluarga, Kunyit instan Abstract: Economic independence of the community is needed in poverty alleviation chain with the Family Hope Program (PKH). PKH which is a Government program is expected to be a transitional program in breaking the poverty chain. Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya which is part of Tasikmalaya City through its role in Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi especially in Community Service Program aims to improve citizen health status and improve economic independence of citizens through utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) especially Turmeric that have medicinal properties. The method used is to transfer knowledge through counseling and training from the team of Lecturer Department of Pharmacy Poltekkes Kemenkes and demonstration of turmeric processing to increase the selling point economically.
