This study aims to create an English language learning model for children who are concerned about the environment in elementary schools. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to create a conceptual model of learning English based on environmental love. This research was conducted at SD 1 Bone-Bone, Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi, in May. The data in this study are primary data, among others, the results of observations as long as researchers make observations, the results of interviews with English teachers. Secondary data include documentation about student name data, documentation on English language teaching materials based on Environmental Education, banners, photos, and other available data as research supporting data. The data analysis technique in this study uses Miles and Huberman’s interactive data analysis method which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The researcher analyzed the data obtained from the observations and the results of interviews with the principal, English teacher and student.
The goal of this community activity is to encourage teachers in the 60 Buton state elementary education unit, which is located in East Lambusango Village, Kapontori District, Buton Regency, to increase their understanding about classroom action research and to realize professionalism. This activity method involves giving presentations, engaging in question-and-answer sessions, taking direction on creating classroom action research proposals, and getting mentoring on proposal preparation. The event took place in public room of the elementary school state 60 Buton. The program's outcomes demonstrate that, in general, the execution of training activities up to mentoring goes without a hitch. Through the use of draft proposals created by teachers who participated in the training, it was determined that the training activities had increased the knowledge of teachers on classroom action research. Additionally, the response from the participants was quite encouraging; they appeared to be very passionate about taking part in the training session, and they expressed a wish that this activity would continue on a constant schedule.
Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam membuat video pembelajaran yang manarik dan keratif. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakana secara tatap muka dengan metode ceramah dan praktik. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diawali dengan dengan melakukan obesrvasi langsung, praktik langsung dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan. Peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini merupakan semua guru SDN 1 Mawambunga Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Hasil dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 1) Peserta pelatihan mendapatkan tambahan pengatahuan baru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. 2) peserta pelatihan dapat membuat video pembelajaran yang menarik. 3) Peserta termotivasi dalam menggunakan teknologi selama proses pembelajaran.
