SMEs as an organization to succeed and to be sustainable must have the most essential and strategic capital, namely creativity, competitive advantage, and intellectual capital. This study aims to explore how creativity and intellectual capital determines SMEs' sustainability as well as examine the emerging role of competitive advantage in supporting this relationship. A quantitative method was applied to gain a better understanding of the relationship between variables undergoing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). This study collected data from 123 SMEs in East Java of Indonesia using an online survey. The approach adopted in this study is a convenience random sampling method, which is widely used in entrepreneurship and SMEs' sustainability research. The findings showed that intellectual capital positively affects both competitive advantage and SMEs' sustainability. Additionally, the result of this study confirms a robust relationship between intellectual capital and SMEs' sustainability. However, partially, creativity failed in explaining SMEs' sustainability. Furthermore, this study confirmed that competitive advantage has successfully mediated both the influence of creativity and intellectual capital to SMEs' sustainability. Although this research only involved participants in East Java, this study can be the first step for relevant research of SMEs' sustainability, in particular, in Indonesia.
This study aims to determine the effect of job insecurity, job satisfaction and organizational commitment on employee turnover intention at PT.Glow Kediri. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population used in this study are employees who work at PT. Glow Kediri who are still actively working until 2022 are 74 people. The sample used in this study is daily/volume employees in the sewing department who are still working until February 2022 with a total sample of 47 people. The sampling method used in this study used purposive sampling. Data processing in this study uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t test and F test and the coefficient of determination (R2). The result of this study is that job insecurity has a partially negative effect on employee turnover intention with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Job satisfaction has a partial negative effect on turnover intention with a significance value of 0.004 <0.05. Organizational commitment has a partial negative effect on turnover intention with a significance value of 0.047 <0.05. job insecurity, job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a simultaneous negative effect on turnover intention with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.
Produk hasil burung walet yang mempunyai nilai tinggi untuk perekonomian adalah sarangnya, atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sarang burung walet (SBW). Data Kementerian Pertanian menunjukkan, total ekspor SBW Indonesia pada tahun 2015 sebesar 700 ton, naik menjadi 769 ton di 2016 dan 1.053 ton di 2017. Ekspor sarang walet sendiri tidak dapat lepas dari peran petani walet Indonesia. Namun, petani walet Indonesia sebagai produsen sarang walet menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti hasil produksi sarang walet rumahan yang layak konsumsi masih rendah, rantai perdagangan sarang walet tertutup, dan harga di tengkulak cukup rendah. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal, memetakan posisi kompetitif usaha peternakan walet UD.Sakinah pada matriks Internal - Eksternal, dan memformulasikan strategi bersaing yang tepat untuk diaplikasikan pada usaha peternakan walet UD.Sakinah. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan menggunakan snowball sampling. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah penganalisaan lingkungan eksternal dan internal dari peternakan burung walet UD.Sakinah yang kemudian akan diformulasikan melalui matriks EFE, IFE, SWOT, analisa portofolio matriks Internal-Eksternal, dan QSPM. Skor bobot total faktor internal lingkungan usaha peternakan walet UD.Sakinah bernilai 2,25 yang artinya sedang. Skor bobot total faktor eksternal usaha menunjukkan 2,5 yang artinya sedang. Matriks IE menunjukkan bahwa usaha peternakan walet UD.Sakinah berada di kuadran V yang artinya strategi yang cocok adalah menjaga dan mempertahankan yaitu strategi penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Pada matriks QSPM attractiveness score untuk strategi penetrasi pasar sebesar 3,91 sedangkan untuk strategi pengembangan produk 3,52. Artinya, strategi pengembangan pasar lebih menarik dan memungkinkan untuk diterapkan di usaha peternakan burung walet UD.Sakinah pada saat ini.
Limbah pertanian dan peternakan yang tidak diolah dengan baik akan menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Desa Puhsarang mempunyai limbah pertanian belum dilaksanakan secara optimal, sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan terkait pakan fermentasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2022 di Dusun Nglangu, Desa Puhsarang, Kecamatan Semen, Kota Kediri, Jawa Timur. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini adalah anggota Kelompok Ternak di Desa Puhsarang. Metode yang digunakan sosialisasi, pelatihan secara teori dan praktek, serta pendampingan dalam pembuatan pakan fermentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pakan ternak fermentasi sangat berguna untuk mengatasi pakan ternak utamanya pada musim kemarau, sedangkan pengolahan limbah kotoran ternak menjadi kompos sangat berguna untuk menyuburkan tanah. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan secara baik dan bermanfaat untuk mewujudkan kemandirian pakan dengan memanfaatkan limbah pertanian potensi lokal. Kegiatan pendampingan masih diperlukan untuk keberlanjutan program. Pakan ternak fermentasi mempunyai nilai nutrisi lebih baik dan lebih disukai ternak sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi ternak dari bertambahnya bobot badan ternak.
The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises, including the businesses of Ngasem residents which have been running so far. Also, businesses owned by residents of Ngasem Village have problems related to entrepreneurial motivation, business management, and limited knowledge about business bookkeeping. The purpose of this service is so that the training participants have a strong motivation to continue doing business, have knowledge of business management, and can manage and make simple business bookkeeping. This method of implementing this service uses lectures, discussions, and cooking practices. During the activity, the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the training and several participants asked questions. The results of this service activity can increase motivation to continue to work hard, increase the ability of participants to make financial records, and deepen their skills in food processing.
