The main problem of damage to land resources in the Pacangkuda Hulu watershed is caused by erosion. Conversion of forest areas into cultivation areas and land management that does not apply the right soil conservation techniques is the cause. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of erosion, tolerated erosion (TSL), erosion hazard index (IBE), land management patterns and farming income in the Upper Pacangkuda watershed. This study uses a survey method of USLE method erosion prediction analysis. The results showed that the highest erosion was in shrub land use, which amounted to 696.424 tons / ha / year, while the lowest erosion was found in primary forest land use which was 2,350 tons / ha / year. The highest tolerated erosion was found in mixed plantation land use of 29.758 tons / ha / yr and the lowest was in shrub land use of 10.588 tons / ha / year. The highest erosion hazard index is found in shrub land use of 65.788 tons / ha / year with very high IBE criteria while the lowest erosion hazard index is secondary forest land use of 0.107 tons / ha / year with low IBE criteria. Land management and agrotechnology which are alternatives are Multiple cropping agriculturesystems with gulud and bangku terrace conservation actions. Income from farming based on Sayogyo is still categorized as poor to very poor with income ranging from Rp. 9,074,076, / up to Rp. 12,799,764 / year / year. Compared with income based on Palopo City of Rp. 2,200,000, the farming income is still relatively low
The need for orchids in Indonesia are still very large, including the Dendrobium "Indonesia Raya" orchid which is still popular. Obstacles in orchid propagation are very slow growth at the acclimatization stage so that alternatives are needed to spur the vegetative growth of orchid plantlets whose materials are easily available and affordable. One of the efforts to spur growth is by using a combination of fern media, husk charcoal, and wood shavings and using Monosodium glutamate (MSG) as a fertilizer supplement in the growth of orchid plantlets at the aclimatization stage. This study aims to determine the effect of the type of planting medium and the application of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and its interaction on the growth of the Dendrobium "Indonesia Raya" orchid at the acclimatization stage. The method used was a 2-factor factorial randomized block design (RBD). The first factor was the type of planting medium, namely ferns, husk charcoal, wood shavings, ferns + husk charcoal, ferns + wood shavings, ferns + husk charcoal + wood shavings. The second factor is the dose of Monosodium glutamate, namely without MSG, 2.5 grams / liter of water and 5.0 grams / liter of water. Located in the Laboratory and Green House of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries of Makassar City from December 2020 to February 2021. The results showed that the dose of Monosodium glutamate do not provide a significant response to the growth of orchid plantlets while the combination of fern + charcoal growing media could increase the vegetative growth of orchids. This community service program aims to increase the knowledge and skills of farmer groups through entrepreneurship-based Trichokompos development training. This service uses training method with target partners, namely Tunas Muda Kreatif Farmer Group, Curioo Village, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The instrument for evaluating this activity was a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The result of this service activity is an increase in the knowledge of farmer groups about entrepreneurship and they are able to produce Trichoderma sp and Trichokompos in greater numbers. In addition, farmer groups have been able to market Trichokompos products so that they get economic benefits and can have an impact on plant growth which can be seen from the performance of pepper plants which are different from before, which is carried out through experiments and demplot
Literasi keagamaan menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang sangat fundamental dan krusial, karena berkaitan dengan keyakinan dan norma yang menjadi tumpuan untuk stabilitas suatu bangsa. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melakukan pembinaan literasi literasi keagamaan melalui kegiatan Baitul Arqam. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di kota Palopo selama 2 (dua) hari, 28-29 Januari 2023. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan SLA (The Sustainable Livelihood Approach), yang meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi dan monitoring. Selain itu juga diperkuat dengan metode PALS (Participatory Action Learning System) yang menitikberatkan pada transformasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dari 25 peserta pada tema berwudhu, tayamum, mandi wajib, dan praktik gerakan Salat mendapatkan keberhasilan 100%, sedangkan tema membaca Al-Qur’an 68% karena ini membutuhkan proses yang panjang dan seumur hidup. Dengan demikian kegiatan ini menjadi kekuatan dan diferensiasi Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah di bidang Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan dibanding perguruan tinggi lain.
