This understanding makes Islamic studies less developed and unable to reach the religious practices of Muslims themselves. This article aims to describe the contribution of anthropology in Islamic studies. This article is a literature review by analyzing books related to Islamic studies and anthropology. The results of the study show that anthropology has at least two main functions for Islamic studies, namely helping Islamic studies in understanding the empirical aspects of Muslim diversity and helping to see the diversity of cultural influences in the practice of Islamic teachings. Furthermore, this study concludes that anthropology has a positive contribution to the development of Islamic studies
Curriculum is one element that contributes greatly to realizing the students’ quality and potential development. To face the challenges that will befall the world of education in Indonesia, clarity of the curriculum and its implementation is needed to improve the performance of education which is far behind the developed countries in the world. This study aims to see how to improve the quality of curriculum implementation at Madrasah Aliyah in Bandar Lampung City. The researcher employed the mixed methods with source explanatory design and source triangulation design involving 34 teachers in two madrasahs in Bandar Lampung City. The study revealed that teachers' ability to prepare lesson plans influences their performance in learning. The percentage of effects obtained from MAN 1 Bandar Lampung was 36.6 percent, while the percentage value obtained from MAN 2 Bandar Lampung was 46.4 percent. The results are in line with the theory that the teacher's ability to prepare lesson plans will positively impact the teacher's ability to carry out learning. The results in both schools show that the greater the teacher's ability to prepare lesson plans, the greater the teacher's ability to carry out learning.
Juvenile Delinquency is a deviant behavior that occurs among adolescents. Juvenile delinquency refers to adolescent behavior that is not in accordance with the norms that live in the community. In terms of juvenile delinquency law is classified into two groups relating to legal norms, namely: (1) delinquency that is immoral and social and is not regulated in law so it can not or is difficult to be classified as a violation of law; (2) delinquency which is unlawful with the settlement in accordance with the law and applicable law is the same as unlawful conduct if committed by an adult. Furthermore culture or culture derived from Sanskrit is buddhayah, which is the plural form of buddhi (mind or intellect) is defined as matters relating to the mind and human reason. In English, culture is called culture, which comes from the Latin word Colere, which is to process or work, so that juvenile delinquency in cultural perspective is very visible relation. Teenagers should be able to get as many adults as possible who would motivate good behavior as well as people who have improved after failing at this stage. The existence of motivation from family, teachers, peers is something that can be done to overcome juvenile delinquency and also good for the development of adolescents. Let us tackle juvenile delinquency wisely. This paper is based on the results of several researchers research.
