In the economic development of a region, there needs to be attention in developing sectors that have the potential and also have good growth. This study aims to identify the economic sectors included in the progressive sector. This research uses secondary data in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Bolaang Mongondow Regency and North Sulawesi Province in 2013-2017 and will then be analyzed using the Location Quotient method and Shift Share analysis. The results of the study concluded that there are five economic sectors which are the base sectors namely the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries sectors; Mining and Excavation sectors, the Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector, Real Estate Sector and Education Services Sector. However, only the Mining and Excavation sector has a progressive growth rate and competitive advantage. As for the Agriculture position itself, it has a non-progressive growth rate and lacks a competitive advantage. In addition, there are four sectors namely the Construction sector, the Wholesale Trade, and Retail; Car and Motorcycle Repair sectors; The Financial Services and Insurance sectors and the Government Administration, Defense, and Social Security sectors are required to be able to move progressively even though those sectors are not included in the base sector.
Mandar River is an important cultural entity for the Mandar community in West Sulawesi, in fact, faces threats such as floods and landslides. To support the government's efforts in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the management of Mandar Watershed needs to integrate the ecological, economic, social, institutional, and technological dimensions. This study aims to: (1) measure the status of the sustainability of the Mandar Watershed; and (2) identify the factors that influence the sustainability of the Mandar watershed management. This research used the method of observation, interviews, documentation study, and literature review. Data analysis used a descriptive analysis approach and Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis with analysis tools suc as rapfish / rapDASMandar. The results showed that the sustainability status of watershed management in the ecological dimension was quite sustainable; on the social and institutional dimensions, it is categorized as less sustainable; and in the economic and technological dimensions, the upstream and middle Mandar sub-watersheds are categorized as less sustainable. The multidimensional sustainability status of Mandar watershed management is categorized as less sustainable. There are 13 factors that need attention to improve the sustainability status of Mandar watershed management, especially in the technological, institutional, and social dimensions.
This study aims to analyze the income and feasibility of field rice business based on the agricultural cultivation system run by farmers in Tappalang village, Tapalang sub-district, Mamuju regency. The implementation of research activities starting from the observation stage, data collection, to report writing for approximately 5 months (June-November 2021). The data collected in the study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from the results of observations and direct interviews with respondent farmers with the help of questioner instruments, while secondary data were obtained from various relevant government agencies. Data analysis techniques use a quantitative descriptive approach, where qualitative data is needed to explain non-financial aspects, while quantitative data is needed for financial aspects and business feasibility obtained using mathematical formulas. The results showed that the average income of farmed rice fields was Rp.9,720,000 / production with an average R / C value of the farm business ratio of 2.9. Therefore, the rice field farming business in Tampalang village can be said to be profitable and worth to working on (strongly recommended).
This study aims to determine differences in nutrient levels in the manufacture of compost from rice straw waste with Trichoderma sp. activator. to the value of the C/N ratio and the nutrients N, P, K. The superiority of Trichoderma sp. Among others, it is easy to apply, does not produce toxins, is environmentally friendly, does not disturb organisms in the soil and does not leave residues in plants or soil. In making compost in compost tanks, the use of Trichoderma sp with a combination of ash and lime (JKAL) can increase the content of C-Organic, N-Total, Phosphorus and Potassium with respective values ??of 20.34%, 0.90%, 0 , 40% and 0.40%. The lowest C/N content was shown in the use of Trichoderma sp added with Ash (JAL) which was 22.0. In the treatment of making compost in containers, the use of Trichoderma sp with a combination of ash and lime (JKAD) was able to increase the content of C-Organic, N-Total and Phosphorus and was able to reduce the value of C/N with an average value of 19.8% respectively , 21.67%, 0.18% and 21.67%. The highest average value of Potassium (K) content shown in the JAD treatment was 0.46%.
