Depolar, ürünlerin muhafaza edildiği ve lojistik açıdan stratejik noktalara kurulması gereken yapılardır. Faaliyetlerine göre sınıflandırılan depo çeşitlerinden biri tehlikeli madde depolarıdır. Tehlikeli maddeler, yapıları itibari ile insan sağlığına, emniyetine ve doğal hayata zarar verme tehlikesi taşırlar. Bu tehlike göz önüne alındığında maddelerin uygun yerlerde muhafaza edilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada ise problemin öneminden hareketle tehlikeli madde için depo yeri seçimi yapılmıştır. Tehlikeli madde depo yeri seçimini etkileyen birçok kriter olması ve bu kriterlerin birbiri ile çelişmesi dolayısıyla çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Stratejik konumu itibari ile Kırıkkale ilindeki 4 bölge, 4 ana ve 9 alt kriter dikkate alınarak değerlendirilmiş, analitik hiyerarşi prosesi yöntemi ve analitik ağ prosesi yöntemleri ile uygun depo yerinin seçilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak tehlikeli maddelerin ikinci bölgede depolanması gerektiği kanaatine varılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ilk defa tehlikeli madde depo yeri seçimi probleminde analitik hiyerarşi prosesi ve analitik ağ prosesi çözüm karşılaştırması yapılmış olup literatüre katkı sağlanmıştır.Warehouses are the structures where the goods are preserved and they need to be established in strategical points logistically. One of the warehouses which are classified according to their fields of activity is hazardous material warehouses. Hazardous materials are the substances that endanger the human health, the safety of people and the natural environment because of their structures. Considering these dangers, it is crucial that those materials are preserved under proper circumstances in appropriate places. In this study, a selection of a location for the warehouse of hazardous materials is made regarding the importance of the problem. Because there are several criteria that affect the selection of the warehouse location for hazardous materials and these criteria conflict with each other, methods of multi criteria decision-making are used in this study. Four places in the city of Kırıkkale are evaluated considering their strategical location. Selection of the appropriate location for the warehouse is aimed by taking the 4 main criteria and 9 sub-criteria into the consideration and by using the methods of analytic hierarchy and the analytic network processes. As a result, it is concluded that hazardous materials should be preserved in the second district. This study contributes to the literature as it compares the methods of analytic hierarchy and the analytic network processes for the selection of the warehouse location for hazardous materials for the first time.

There are severe problems in Turkey due to reasons such as global warming and climate change. Although cities have specific needs in combating the harmful effects of climate change, and there is no single policy that will serve all purposes, it is possible with analytical methods that the measures to be taken are optimal under current conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to optimally evaluate various opportunities on limited resources to gain knowledge and experience applications through global networks. In the study, the current opportunities were evaluated, the adverse effects of global climate change brought about by urbanization were examined, alternative solutions were sought, and a model was proposed for critical decision problems with an analytical method. In the proposed solution model, investment alternatives for a project of this nature in Kırıkkale University Central Campus were evaluated in order to reduce the adverse effects of the society on the environment by implementing the sustainable green campus project, which includes all of the green roof, vertical garden, sustainable education, electric vehicles, and solar panels. Prioritization based on various criteria (installation costs, skilled labor costs, water efficiency, energy efficiency, time, carbon emissions, and oxygen production) for the realization of the projects was made with the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method. In the study, the Kırıkkale University campus was determined as the Vertical Garden Project, the first project envisaged to be implemented in the transition process to a sustainable green campus. It aimed to be a pioneer in green campus projects to be made in the future.
