Cancer is chronic disease that contribute to increasing of death in the world, containing of breast cancer and colon cancer. Natural bioactive compounds have been an important source to exploring drug candidate and drug discovery. Acmella uliginosa is herbaceous plant that has many pharmacology activities. The aim of this study was analysis anti-cancer activity of A. uliginosa. The first step, A. uliginosa was extracted with ethanol and n-hexane, then the extract was evaporated using a rotary evaporator and then analysis to determine phytochemistry compound. Then, brine shrimp lethal test (BSLT) for analysis toxicity effect and preliminary screening anti-cancer compound as well. Moreover, anti-cancer cytotoxic was analyzed using MTT method. This study shows that A. uliginosa contains several phytochemical compounds such as steroid, alkaloid and flavonoid. The preliminary testing of anticancer show n-hexane extract more potent than ethanolic extract, the LC50 value of ethanol and n-Hexane extract was 174.8751mg/L and 60.06807mg/L, respectively. Then the cytotoxic effect of n-hexane extract against WiDr colon cancer cell line and T47D breast cancer cell line was 628.48 µg/ml and 1235.84 µg/ml and 1235.84mcg, respectively. Therefore, n-hexane extract was chosen to be a good candidate for further studies as a new anticancer drug in the treatment of colon cancer.
In recent years, the influence of celebrities on brand advertising is very promising. Undoubtedly, celebrity endorsements increase a company's brand awareness through endorsements. This study aims to determine the influence of celebrity endorsement and brand attitude on buying interest in adolescents. This study used a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study amounted to 100 students at SMA X Sangatta Utara who were selected by purposive sampling techniques. The data collection methods used were the scale of purchase intent, celebrity endorsements, and brand attitudes. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The collected data was analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program version 21.0 for windows. The results of this study showed that there was a significant influence between celebrity endorsement and brand attitude towards buying interest (F = 39.0 16; p = 0.000; R2 = 37.5%). There was no significant effect between celebrity endorsements on buying interest (β = 0.070; t = 1.978; p = 0.544). There was a significant influence between brand attitudes toward purchase intent (β = 0.556; t = 4.859; p = 0.000).
This study aims to determine whether there is a decrease in the behavior of the quarter-life crisis to achieve happiness after being given the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy method. Using a quantitative experimental approach and the research design used is Static Group Comparison. The aim is to measure the effectiveness of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy in this study to the experimental group. Subjects are 30 people who are experiencing a quarter-life crisis. The technique of data analysis is statistical analysis, namely Paired sample T-test. Salam's research shows: (1) There is a significant difference in the quarter-life crisis after being given Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy with Paired Sample T-Test with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). (2) There is no significant difference in the quarter-life crisis on the subject before and before being given mindfulnessbased cognitive therapy with the Paired Sample T-Test with p-value = 0.741 (p > 0.05).
Penelitian mengenai jenis-jenis mamalia yang mengunjungi kubangan babi hutan di hutan konservasi PT Tidar Kerinci Agung dan PT Kencana Sawit Indonesia, Solok Selatan, Sumatera Barat telah dilaksanakan dari 15 Juni sampai dengan 8 Desember 2015. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pemasangan tujuh buah perangkap kamera di sekitar kubangan babi hutan. Selama penelitian didapatkan 18 jenis hewan mamalia dari 12 famili dan 5 ordo. Hewan mamalia yang sering mengunjungi kubangan babi hutan yaitu Sus scrofa (481 foto), Macaca nemestrina (476 foto), Sus barbatus (269 foto), Macaca fascicularis (38 foto) dan Muntiacus muntjak (33 foto). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kubangan babi hutan menarik bermacam-macam jenis mamalia dengan frekuensi kunjungan yang berbeda-beda.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) model 4D (Define,Design,Development dan Dissemination) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes sumatif pada pembelajaran fisika semester ganjil kelas X SMA berbantuan software wondershare quiz creator sebagai media pembuatan soal ujian berbasis komputer. Instrumen tes berjumlah 40 soal pilihan ganda dengan 5 pilihan jawaban yang telah di validasi oleh ahli materi dengan skor 3,34 pada kategori tinggi dan dinyatakan valid. Produk telah diuji kepada 28 siswa kelas X SMA dan dilakukan analisis reliabilitas dengan skor 0,941 (reliabel), analisis tingkat kesukaran soal terdapat 12 butir soal yang kategori mudah, 20 butir soal kategori sedang, dan 8 butir soal kategori susah. Analisis daya pembeda diperoleh 4 soal dengan kategori sangat baik, 18 soal dengan kategori baik, 17 soal dengan kategori cukup, dan 1 soal dengan kategori kurang baik sehingga produk dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen tes penilaian akhir semester 1 kelas X SMA di sekolah.
