This research aims to develop inquiry-based student worksheet and to describe its attractiveness, usefulness and effectiveness. The development design uses seven steps of Borg & Gall research including research and data collection, planning, product draft development, initial field testing, revision of the test results, field testing, and product improvement. Product validation includes material validation, design and content using questionnaires. The subjects of the testing are teachers and students of one of state senior high schools in East Lampung. The results of material validation, design and student worksheet’s content are included in high category, so that it can be stated that the student worksheet is worth to use. The results of field testing indicated that inquiry-based student worksheet can instill students’ science generic skills in static fluid subject. Teachers’ and students’ responses towards the development results were 78% which was categorized as very attractive and 78% as very useful. From the results of effectiveness test, it was known that post-test values was higher than the mean of pre-test value. Therefore, the product which has been developed in the form of inquiry-based student worksheet is effective to instill science generic skill of the students.
Pragmatics is the science of linguistics which can analyze spoken words and derive their meaning. The development of pragmatics is driven by the awareness of linguists to explore pragmatics. Because humans cannot be separated from their daily communicative activities, the use of utterances in everyday life can be unlimited as speech acts, including locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, and perlocutionary acts. The type of research method in this article is qualitative with document type. Qualitative research is a type of research whose results are not based on statistics or other calculations. The purpose of this study is to find out what is meant by locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary as well as giving examples of the three.
Production of big cayenne in Malang Districts has trend increase while consumption has trends decrease make excess supply. Unbalanced supply and demand causes price fluctuation between producers and consumers. Price fluctuations can pose risks and price uncertainties or price changes known as price volatility. The purpose of this research is to analyze price volatility that occurs at the level of producers and consumers of big cayenne in Malang Districts, and analyze the spillover volatility that occurs at the price of producers and consumers big cayenne in Malang Districts. The method used to analyze price volatility is ARCH/GARCH models and the method used to analyze the spillover volatility is EGARCH models. The results showed that the price volatility of big cayenne in Malang Regency at the producer and consumer level is low volatility and the results of spillover volatility showed that the price of big cayenne producers and consumers in Malang Districts occur spillover volatility.
