Dum., Calamagrostis Dum., Pseudophragmites Tzvel.). Изучение гербарных образцов и литературных данных позволило пополнить видовой состав рода Calamagrostis Adans. Казахстана 5 видами: Calamagrostis macilenta (Griseb.) Litv., Calamagrostis uralensis Litv.,Calamagrostis langsdorffii (Link) Trin., Calamagrostis phragmitoides Hartm., Calamagrostis glomerata Boiss. Et Buhse. В систематическом отношении наибольшим числом видов представлена секция Deyeuxia (Clar.
The article presents the floristic composition of the southwestern and northeastern parts of the KoktauMountains. A taxonomic and environmental analysis of the flora of flowering and higher spore plants in the studiedregions is carried out. The flora of higher vascular plants in the southwestern and northeastern parts of the KoktauMountains is represented by 576 species belonging to 271 genera and 74 families, which makes up 10.29 % of thetotal flora of Kazakhstan. Endemic and relicts are identified in the composition of the flora. Taxonomically the flora isrepresented by 3 systematic groups: Filicinae and Equisetales, gymnosperms and angiosperms. Leading families andgenera are identified. It has been established that as part of the life forms of the flora of the Koktau Mountains, herbaceousplants dominate, tree and shrub species are poorly represented. Ecologically, the flora of the Koktau Mountains is formedby mesophytes, xeromesophytes, xerophytes, mesoxerophytes, mesopetrophytes, and mesohygrophytes.
A list of the genus Betula L. was compiled by the authors on the basis of field work carried out in 1970–2019, and also the collections of other collectors stored in the herbarium of Republican state-owned enterprises on the right of economic management “Altai Botanical Garden” (Ridder) and the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction (Almaty). Purpose: to clarify the species composition and distribution of the genus Betula L. (family Betulaceae S.F. Gray) in the territory of Kazakhstan Altai, the Altai ridges and the Zaysan depression. As a result of the studies established the growth of 15 species and one subspecies of the genus Betula L. in the studying region. The study of herbarium samples, literature data and private collections allowed to supplement the species composition of the genus Betula L. of Kazakhstan with 7 species: B. x aurata Borkh., B. pseudopendula V. Vassil., B. falcata V. Vassil., B. x kelleriana Sukacz., B. х pseudomiddendorffii V. Vassil., B. talassica P. Pol., B. fruticosa subsp. montana M. Schemberg. Species saturation in the studied region: Central Altai – 3 species (18,8% of the total number of species); Southern Altai – 11 (68,75%); Western Altai –11 (68.75%); Kalba Altai – 6 (37,5%); Zaysan depression – 3 (18,75%); Saur-Manrak – 2 (12,5%). The average saturation index of species of the genus Betula L. in the flora of the Kazakhstan Altai and the Altai ranges is 6, which is relatively low, which indicates that family Betulaceae in the studied region is a specific element of boreal and holarctic flora. Keywords: list, genus Betula, species, Kazakhstan Altai, Saur-Manrak, Zaysan depression, distribution, occurrence.
According to the results of the study, 14 species of orchids were found in the flora of the southern Altai in2019, which is 52 % of the species diversity of the Orchid flora of Kazakhstan. It is established that the coenopopulationsof orchids in the region develop and exist within the boundaries of specific phytocenoses and are characterized by a certainecological and phytocenotic amplitude of the development of natural environment conditions. They are distributed in thelower, middle and upper mountain zones. The widest altitude range is typical for species from the genus Dactylorchiza(absolute altitude 462–1365 m). In terms of life forms, species with a stem-like tuberoid (genera Dactylorhiza, Herminium,Orchis) predominate, while short-rooted and long-rooted species (genera Cypripedium, Epipactis) are less represented. InKaton-Karagai district, 10 species of orchids were recorded growing in 19 cenopopulations, in Kurchum – 5 species in 6cenopopulations. Vegetation cover in habitats is formed from 35 to 90 %. Due to the weak competition of orchids, theirshare in the addition of phytocenoses does not exceed 2 %.
