A complex modern study of the ratio effect of components of an ointment composition based on highly dispersed Zinc oxide modified with nanoscale silver on its physical and chemical properties is performed. It was found that at a concentration of glycerol equal to C = 10%, and at a concentration of methylcellulose C = 3%, the value of the active acidity of the ointment composition is optimal (pH = 6.5-7). Studies of the structural and mechanical properties of the ointment composition have shown that the wound-healing ointment composition is elastic and has thixotropy, which makes it possible to use it in the treatment of wound surfaces with complex relief.
Despite the large range of ready-made medicines, the extemporal formulation has not lost its significance. One of the most significant extemporal dosage forms in providing, including emergency medical care, is solutions for injection, which have technological features of manufacturing. The article presents the results of a study of the main properties of water during lowfrequency acoustic treatment for the preparation of stable saline solutions. Methods of stabilization of solutions for injection were studied. The effect of low-frequency acoustic treatment on the physical and chemical properties of osmotic water has been experimentally confirmed. Using computed quantum and chemical modeling, the most probable forms of water nanoclusters formed during low-frequency acoustic treatment are determined. Prospects of using the low-frequency acoustic treatment in the Pharmaceutical Industry and pharmacies to stabilize saline solutions for injection are shown. Further research will be related to the treatment of real physiological solutions of drugs with different molecular weights.
The present article gives an analytical overview of the current state of processing problems and visualization of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It is presented the expediency of combining of instrumental means, presented in various open-source programs and scientific publications in recent years, into a single program-tool complex solving in full problems of pre-processing and filtering data, directed precision thematic segmentation and analysis of images, forming the feature space, recognition of the situation, 3D modeling, and visualization. The complex is designed for expert decision support of doctors-researchers in the process of carrying out scientific experiments. Support is based on the application of new methods of brain area texture analysis, effective metrics, and advanced means of cognitive computer graphics. An important feature of the complex must be the interactive operating mode of the doctor-researcher with MRI data, which can be provided by applying high-performance computing with software support of hardware accelerators.
Plant proteins are widely used in the production technology of sausage products. They are used to improve the functional and technological properties of ground sausage and increase the yield of finished products. The article presents the technical aspects of the use of lentil proteins in the production of raw smoked sausages. The changes in the pH value of minced meat and sausage and the speed of maturation and drying are evaluated and justified. The results of histological analysis, organoleptic examination, and research of physical and chemical properties of the finished products are presented in the article.
Recently, great interest in agricultural production has been manifested to preparations of biological origin. Production of biostimulants is in great demand, as small concentrations of these substances are able to maximize the potential of plants, increase their quality and productivity. One of the promising sources of biostimulants is keratin-containing raw materials. It is characterized by a high content of keratin protein. The peculiarities of its chemical composition and structural and mechanical properties require a concretization of the approach to the methods of processing and processing of this unconventional type of waste. Due to enzymatic hydrolysis of keratin preparation of actinomycete Str. chromogenes s. g. 0832 managed to obtain a highly effective biostimulator for plants. The content of free amino acids in it is 82.2%. Hydrolysate contains all essential amino acids; the sum of essential amino acids was 42.66 %. In the comparative evaluation of the biostimulator from keratin pen and the preparation of plant origin “Ribav Extra” the best results were obtained when processing corn seeds with hydrolysate of animal origin. The germination energy in this case was higher than the control samples by 18%, germination increased by 10% compared to the control and by 5% compared to Ribav Extra.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
