The content of the paper was determined by the problem of active teaching forms at English classes at the Pedagogical Universities. The modern educational environment should form an holistic system of universal knowledge, skills, as well as the experience of independent activity and personal responsibility of students.The aim of the article is to determine the effectiveness of active forms of teaching Ukrainian future teachers at English classes.Modern effective forms of teaching are based on the independent educational activities of participants. Active forms of teaching provide a solution of educational problems in various aspects: the formation of positive educational motivation; increasing cognitive activity of students; active involvement of students in the educational process; development of cognitive processes; effective assimilation of educational information; development of creative abilities and thinking; development of the communicative and emotional sphere and development of independent mental work skills and universal skills.The research was conducted on the basics of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky (2018)(2019).An analysis of these researchers and advanced pedagogical experience shows that the most characteristic direction of increasing the university education effectiveness is the creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions in which a student can take an active personal position and educational activity.The results of the implementation of the system of using active teaching forms can be considered: systematization of program material by the criterion of the possibility of using active forms and a holistic system of exercises of active forms.
The peculiarities are clarified and the importance of independent work in the conditions of distance learning is emphasized. The definition of independent work is given, which is necessary for the formation of those qualities in the students of education, which are manifested in the ability to consciously determine the purpose of the activity at each stage of its achievement. The possibilities of the Moodle platform in organizing the independent work of education seekers in the conditions of distance learning are shown. According to the method of distribution of educational content, educational modes are proposed. The positive features of distance education that reveal its essence are indicated. Distance learning modes are analyzed: synchronous (all participants of the educational process are in the web environment at the same time); asynchronous (the educational process is carried out according to a convenient schedule for teachers and students), and mixed. Different types of distance learning for education seekers are presented, which differ in the degree of remoteness, individualization, and productivity. The principles of organizing students' independent work in the conditions of distance learning in institutions of higher education are formulated.
The article deals with a relevant problem in modern methodology, namely, the issues of the strategy for the formation of future primary school teachers’ vocabulary, as well as some principles of promoting the language and cognitive development of students. To understand and analyze the process of forming a professional vocabulary, the article briefly considers the criteria for the professional vocabulary of teachers. The study focuses mainly on lexical exercises that contribute to the formation of the future teacher's own vocabulary and indicates that this process depends mainly on how often a person encounters a word and how deeply these words are processed. Reading professional texts in a foreign language is an important source of learning vocabulary, first under the supervision and with the help of a teacher, and later, according to the results of learning, independently or in a group. Specially designed exercises for such texts provide the necessary number of repetition, and also allow students to learn and use words that they do not often encounter in spoken language. An important component is the motivation of students to consciously and actively engage in the use of words, creating a range of activities that enriches understanding of the meaning words and focuses them on the use of words in speech. The main goal is to keep students interested and to cover the vocabulary from which the actual study of vocabulary begins. The process of forming a professional vocabulary of future primary school teachers is considered on the example of working with a professionally oriented text and conclusions are drawn about the most effective ways of forming a future primary school teachers’ professional vocabulary.
