In this work, the impact of noise in the parametric identification of synchronous machine two-axis equivalent circuits using SSFR data is analyzed. Equivalent circuits of one and three damper branches are used to model the synchronous machine. Noise is synthetically included into the SSFR data previously obtained from a finite-element simulation. A uniform probability density is used to include two noise ratios in a synthetic way. Quantitative results show differences in the values of parameters. Nevertheless, no significant impact was found when comparing the frequency response of equivalent circuits with the same number of damper branches obtained from SSFR data with or without noise.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
