Obesity is an important factor in pathogenesis of disorders caused by chronic inflammation. Diet-induced obesity leads to dyslipidemia and insulin resistance (Ir) O besity is recognized as an important factor in the pathogenesis of metabolic disorders. Metabolic syndrome which is related to weight gain, specifically intra-abdominal fat accumulation, is a known risk factor for early cardiovascular diseases.
