Contact geometric measurements of pipe blanks in the edge bending section of the TESA 1420 pipe electrowelding line are made by a new method. The influence of the pipe blank's edge geometry on the shape of the edge zone after the subsequent processes is assessed. The stages of the experiment are outlined. The experimental data are obtained in the form of the coordinates of points on the edge. Measurements of the edge geometry by different methods are compared. The use of photographic survey measurements is promising for use in the production of large diameter pipe.
This paper overviews the current state of development of the structure and properties formation in hot rolled low alloy strip steel after its coiling. To clarify the effect of coil cooling rate on the mechanical behavior, hydrogen content, corrosion , texture and coincidence site lattice industrial experiments were made at a hot strip mill. It is revealed that the texture and CSL has a notable influence on the complex of properties: strength, ductility, toughness and corrosion resistance.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
