On the base of research results on quality characteristics of candied vegetable marrow, for the first time the standard CTO 45727225-20 has been elaborated to control the quality of vegetable production and to improve the technological discipline in production of candied vegetable marrow.

Standard is the main normative document regulating the important traits of seeds (germination ability, humidity, purity, regime of storage). This regulatory document provides the technological and economical basis for vegetable production and others features of agriculture.

Allium aflatunense has been studied at All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding and Seed Production as a new plant culture that has high adaptability, acceptable qualities so that it can be well introduced to breeding program for middle belt of Russia. Samson cultivar has been selected as a result of breeding and joined efforts of the laboratory of standardization and metrology with the onion research group at All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding and Seed Production. There were worked out descriptors for traits and sowing recommendations.

The technical features and conditions for normalization of quality characteristics of tomato juice regarded as a human food have been elaborated without direct wringing and preliminary preheating of tomato fruits in presence of salt and sugar.
