The article represents the analysis of use of thermal insulation materials inUkraineand shows advantages of newly developed inorganic thermal insulation material STTIZOL compared with conventional materials. Description of the main physical and mechanical properties of thermal insulation materials has been provided.

The article represents results of the studies, which have allowed determining optimum components correlations polymeric mortars based on КF-МТ-15 carbamide resin and ED-22 epoxy resin to obtain highly efficient materials for repair of transport facilities.

The properties of the mortars for repairing transport constructions operated upon subsoil water effect are given in the article. Advisability of using polymeric alkali binding materials as impervious barrier is proved. Experimental results confirming positive properties of durability of investigated materials are presented.
