Mobile learning is nowadays utilized by educators to meet the students’ mode of learning in this digital era. This current study’s objective is to develop the mobile learning of reading based reader response strategy for comprehension achievement and character establishment of the eleventh grade students of SMAN 4 Lubuklinggau with 29 student. By employing development research with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) research design , reading test material was delivered to determine the potential effect of students. The result of the study were: the developed product for reading material was effective by showing 26 students (89.65%) out of 29 students achieved the minimum mastery criterion (70) and the students’ answers showed students’ moral knowing and moral feeling in relation to the character building. In term of moral knowing, it showed that students comprehension about moral value inside texts. Students were able to put themselves in moral knowing stage of character building. Besides, the students expressed what they felt and what should they do if they should face the condition.
This article aim to analyze of the policy form of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with local governments, followed by early childhood education programs, Primary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, Extraordinary School both public and private in the Motivating School Program whether or not it can be implemented. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study is library research. In this literature study, the author collects materials related to research from books, scientific journals, literatures and other publications that are worthy of being used as sources, by describing and describing the data through several expert opinions. The result of this research is that the Driving School program has an impact as a catalyst for the quality of education in Indonesia. This is indicated by the existence of several interventions. The interventions carried out in the motivating school program start from human resources, learning with a new paradigm and data-based planning. This program is able to accelerate public/private schools to move 1-2 stages further. However, because it is still dynamic, some of the readiness in the curriculum is still not optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia dini (AUD) yang tepat dan efektif dengan diterapkannya metode bercerita di kelompok B TK Hamizan Lubuklinggau. Metode penelitian ini adalah action research untuk memperbaiki kemampuan sosial emosional AUD menggunakan metode bercerita melalui pemanfaatan media audiovisual berupa video. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 anak dengan rincian anak laki-laki berjumlah 14 anak, dan perempuan berjumlah 6 orang anak. Pada penelitian ini digunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pada kemampuan sosial emosional dari siklus I sebesar 25%, pada siklus II menjadi 65% dan sikus III menjadi 100%. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan sosial emosional anak pada siklus I masih belum cukup baik dimana anak-anak kurang percaya diri dalam hal tanya jawab, kurang berani bercerita kedepan begitu juga dalam hal mengekspresikan perasaan. Namun, pada siklus II dan siklus III peningkatan kemampuan sosial emosional anak sudah mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dikarenakan penggunaan video pembelajaran, motivasi, dan bimbingan guru. Penerapan metode bercerita tepat dan efektif digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka rekomendasi untuk pendidik dapat menggunakan metode bercerita sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosial pada anak usia dini.
Teachers’ quality plays a paramount role in the improvement of quality of education. This paper describes the reflection of expectation and reality from the concept and the implementation of CPD of Primary School teacher in Indonesia. The objectives of CPD are increasing teachers’ professional development, increasing education services and upgrading professional qualification. In Indonesia, the objectives CPD only touches increasing education services and professional development. Teachers should involve in CPD activities, they are in self-development, scientific publication and innovative works. The reality from the implementation of CPD, Indonesia’s Education Development Index (EDI) is still on average level. It shows CPD activities have not brought education service improvement in longlife learning. In term of professional development, there are many teachers who are not pass credit score to have higher fungtional position and the main factors are less of motivation and commitment of teachers. In the other line, teachers who have pursued master qualification commonly have been pass credit score.
Teachers’ professionlism development in post pandemic Covid-19 shifts to online activities because of use-technology adaptation during pandemic Covid-19. This study aims to portray teachers’ professionalism activities during and post Covid-19. This study employed a qualitative survey to gain teachers’ opinion with open-ended questions by online questionnaire. Teachers are insisted to be more active and creative to build effective learning process. Adaptation in using technology also affect teachers’ profesionalism activities. Preference in online activities makes them to participate professionalism activities online cause of easyness and cost-effectiveness.
