Batak Toba tribe has many philosophies of life. One of the philosophy is Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon di Au. This study aims to determine how the concept of thinking and perspective of Batak Toba parents living in the city of Palangka Raya in interpreting the philosophy of Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon di Au. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the philosophy of Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon di Au is still very attached to the parents of the Batak Toba tribe in Palangka Raya. This philosophy means that children are the pride, honor, wealth, and most valuable possessions for the family. Parents always instill this philosophy in children from an early age, with the hope that children and the next generation will continue to carry the identity of the Batak family and internalize the values contained in the philosophy of the Batak Toba tribe in life. Suku Batak Toba memiliki banyak filosofi kehidupan atau pedoman hidup. Salah satu filosofi tersebut adalah Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon di Au. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep berpikir dan perpektif orang tua suku Batak Toba yang tinggal di kota Palangka Raya dalam memaknai filosofi Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon di Au. Metode penelitin yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa filosofi Anakkon Hi Do Hamoraon di Au masih sangat melekat pada orang tua suku Batak Toba di Palangka Raya. Filosofi ini berarti bahwa anak kebanggaan, kehormatan, kekayaan, dan harta yang paling berharga bagi keluarga. Orang tua selalu menanamkan filosofi ini kepada anak sejak dini, dengan harapan anak dan generasi selanjutnya tetap membawa identitas keluarga Batak serta menginternalisasi nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam filosofi suku Batak Toba di dalam kehidupan.
One type of intelligence that is very important and must be possessed by children is mathematical logic. This study aims to describe effective and efficient strategies that can be implemented by teachers in growing, stimulating and developing mathematical logic intelligence and logical thinking in early childhood at the Pembina Village Kindergarten in Pendahara Village. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study illustrate that the teacher s strategy in choosing children s learning methods is very important. The development of early childhood logic can be stimulated by learning activities by finding patterns and finding logistical relationships combined with appropriate and fun learning methods.
An environment that does not motivate the sustainability of education is a central issue in Tumbang Habaon Village, Tewah District, Gunung Mas Regency. This issue is illustrated by the weak motivation of students to come to school to study, the lack of parental guidance for school-age children and the school's not being optimal in conducting effective learning for students, especially during the pandemic. This community cervice of Christian Religious Education Study Program aims to empower education sustainability through Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach between parents, schools and also church. The problems were found then designed in several action plan including 1) Parent’s role in fostering student motivation to continue their education through parenting seminar; 2) Fostering the motivation of Junior High School (SMPN 4 Tewah) to learn and directing them to have goals in their education process through “Kelas Inspirasi” activities; 3) Train teachers of SMPN 4 Tewah in Tumbang Habaon to be able to evaluate effective learning and have implications for student learning development through K’13 Assessment Instruments Training; 4) Christian Education in GKE Kapania Congregation in Tumbang Habaon as an effort to urge residents about the importance of education through Sunday School (SHM) and Youth Service (SPRP). Participatory Action Research which has been done, were carried out between parents, students, congregation members and stake holder in Tumbang Habaon had a new perspective on the importance of education for children’s future and also collaborative motivation between parents, schools and the community to support the sustainability of education for the children in Tumbang Habaon
