The purpose of the article is to assess the impact of the investment and innovation components on the economic development of Ukraine regions using the taxonomy method. The proposed method allows determining the object state level in a general set of objects, and ordering the objects according to growth or decrease of the indicators. The article substantiates the necessity to assess the dynamics of the regional economic development level in order to identify the reserves and capacities for increasing profitability and efficiency of further activities. The integral indicator of the regions' development level is calculated. The comparative analysis is carried out within the framework of the proposed model. The research results suggest that the proposed model enables us to trace the causes of the negative phenomena occurrence in the activities of the regions, to prevent their occurrence, and to develop complex managerial influences to provide the state with a vector of positive development.
The paper studies sustainable development in the realities of Ukraine and the world. In particular, the global trends in human and sustainable development are analyzed. The tendencies of changes in the world measurement of human development are revealed through the human development index and partial indices characterizing the development for socio-economic inequality (IHDI), gender development (GDI), gender inequality (GII). It was found that sustainable development of society is impossible without solving the problem of a safe environment and preserving the environment for future generations. It has been determined that sustainable development presupposes the solution of triune tasks: economy, ecology and social sphere. It is noted that Ukraine has an extremely acute need for the transition to a sustainable development model, which is due to: a sufficiently large share of raw materials and energy-intensive types of production in the overall structure of the economy, which leads to the depletion of natural resources by a high level of environmental pollution, which negatively affects the health of the population. In terms of human development, significant differences remain between Ukraine and other countries when it comes to the well-being of the population, life expectancy and attitude to the environment. It was analyzed that the largest increase in the HDI rating for the period from 2010 to 2020 occurred in Ireland, the largest decrease in the HDI rating occurred in the Syrian Arab Republic and Libya, in countries affected by military conflicts. It has been determined that education is the primary and one of the most important factors for ensuring sustainable development of mankind. Attention is focused on solving the problem of creating an effective system for monitoring the environment, organizing an observation system, collecting, processing, transmitting, storing and analyzing information about the state of the environment, predicting its changes and making decisions on preventing negative changes in terms of its impact on public health. A model of ensuring human and sustainable development for Ukraine is proposed. The main directions of development should be the use of innovative approaches to environmental, demographic, educational and social components through the implementation of targeted regional development programs, outsourcing, insurance medicine, public-private partnerships, international educational online environment, international environmental projects.
The article focuses on identifying priority areas for greening and sustainable development for OECD countries and Ukraine. They aim to achieve overall progress in the interaction between the economy and the environment. Additionally, the aim is to create prerequisites for encouraging innovation and investment to find new sources of economic growth that are compatible with ecosystems that are capable of recovering from damage. It has been demonstrated that although the global goals of greening economies are relevant for all countries, they must be tailored to the regional and national specificities, as well as each country’s level of economic development. The study used general qualitative and quantitative methods of economic research, including systematic, comparative analysis, methods of logical and statistical analysis, and index method, among others. The applied theoretical and methodological approach allowed us to identify general trends in the development of environmental factors in the OECD countries and Ukraine and their impact on economic growth. Specifically, the study analyzes the current state of affairs and perspectives for greening and sustainable development based on a comprehensive assessment of the level of greening in these economies and the relationship between the internal ecological environment – assessed using the indicators of “green growth” – and their economic development. The article also justifies priorities for greening and sustainable development and suggests practical measures for their implementation. They can serve as a basis for developing a policy of effective environmental management and elaborating a national system of environmentally friendly management and administration.
The topicality of the topic is due to the problems of the essence and the basic principles of the formation and development of the circular economy. The well-known systems of circular economy principles 3R and 9R have been supplemented with new principles that more widely reveal the content and possibilities of transition to a closed-type economy. The purpose of the research is to determine improved organizational forms of closed-loop business models, developed on the basis of advanced principles of the circular economy, adapted to the realities of Ukraine. The research methodology consisted of a set of used methods, cognitive and systemic principles of research, a sequence of stages that included: the study of scientific literature, the analysis of the current state and international experience on issues of circular transformations, substantiation of one's own concept and organizational forms of a business model of a closed economy. The scientific work compares and summarizes the principles of circular economy development. Systematization of the classification features of types of circular business models proposed in modern practice has been carried out. On the basis of the conducted research, a scheme of the conceptual model of the R-economy is proposed. The main stages of implementing the circular business model in practical activities are proposed. The key advantages of the circular business model are defined as future long-term economic benefits that create additional potential for business competitiveness and contribute to solving public environmental problems. Based on the generalization, modern obstacles and socio-economic benefits from the transition to a circular model of development for business and society were identified. The modern practice of successful implementation of circular business models is analyzed. Proposals regarding the design of food production for the creation of a closed-type economic model are substantiated. Various archetypes of the organization of closed-type business models have been studied. The scheme of organizational forms of circular economy business models is presented, taking into account the specialty of the value chain, as one of its most effective mechanisms
Introduction. The article shows the increase in Ukraine's share in the world structure of grain exports. The average value of the growth rate of Ukrainian wheat and fodder grain exports is calculated, which is ahead of the similar world indicator. It turns out that the food supply of individual countries and regions depends on the volume of Ukrainian grain exports. It is noted that the positive side of the growth of grain exports is the increase in foreign exchange earnings, the negative - the loss of value added and reducing the use of grain for domestic needs. Purpose. Substantiation of theoretical and methodological provisions of the grain market, study of the state, patterns, prospects of the grain market of national and regional nature and development of practical recommendations for improving the organizational and economic mechanism of its regulation through generalization of conceptual approaches and implementation of foreign experience. Results. The article proves that the solution of the global food problem is connected with the production of grain products. Currently, the essence of this problem comes down to the fact that the growth rate of the world's population is ahead of the growth rate of grain production. In addition, the article substantiates how the negative impact of destructive factors on agricultural production is increasing - reducing the area of land suitable for agricultural production through construction and desertification, increasing freshwater shortages, increasing the frequency of floods, droughts and fires and increasing their distribution and more. Conclusions. While maintaining the current demographic and climate trends, the risks of food danger are increasing even for countries that have traditionally been and are suppliers of grain products to the world market. For Ukraine, such risks are because the deepening integration of its economy into the world weakens the ability of public administration to influence the redistribution and movement of food in the national market - free trade policy is the basis of the neoliberal doctrine of economic globalization. In the worst-case scenario, the owners of grain products grown in Ukraine will be foreign agricultural holdings of TNCs, which will export it abroad without restrictions provoking an acute shortage of food in the domestic market with all the negative consequences. Keywords: wheat, fodder grain, export, foreign exchange earnings, raw materials, value added, domestic use.
