Educational institutions have failed to achieve desired goals due to the lack of technology adoption, and this situation needs researchers’ emphasis. Hence, the current study examines the impact of digitalization and digital competencies among students on the educational performance of low-income college students in China. The article also investigates the moderating impact of parental support at the nexus of digitalization, digital competencies among students, and educational performance in low-income college students in China. The questionnaires were used by the researchers to gather the data from the selected respondents. The article has applied the smart-PLS to check the linkage among understudy constructs and test the hypotheses. The results revealed that digitalization and digital competencies among students positively link educational performance. The results also exposed that parental support significantly moderates digitalization, digital competencies, and educational performance in low-income college students in China. This article helps policymakers develop policies to improve educational performance using technology adoption.

At the current stage, developed economies are able to implement measures to improve energy efficiency. At the same time, the developing economies mostly focus on rapid development, which implies a rapid increase in energy demand. The introduction of innovative technologies should meet the energy needs of economies while simultaneously improving energy efficiency. In particular, this applies to increasing renewable energy consumption. The development of this sector can be accelerated through the introduction of Industry 4.0. The aim of the study is to determine the impact of Industry 4.0 on modelling energy scenarios of developing economies. The research involved methods of analysis and synthesis, economic and statistical analysis, graphical methods, and the comparison. The study revealed a high impact of Industry 4.0 on the Ukrainian economy, in particular energy sector. Among other things, an improved energy efficiency is the result of such impact. It was determined that renewable energy consumption in Ukraine increased significantly by 11.5 times during the studied period. The differences in the energy development of Ukraine and China are outlined: China has chosen energy independence. It was concluded that the development and implementation of the latest technologies play a significant role in energy scenarios. The timing of achieving the goals are the main difference in energy scenarios between developed countries and developing countries. The prospect of further research should be the determining means of measuring the impact of uncertainty on the energy modelling.

Розвинені економіки на сучасному етапі функціонування вже можуть упроваджувати заходи з підвищення енергоефективності. При цьому економіки країн, що розвиваються, здебільшого акцентують увагу на швидкому розвитку, який супроводжується стрімким зростанням попиту на енергію. Упровадження інноваційних технологій має забезпечувати потреби економік країн в енергії при одночасному підвищенні енергоефективності. Зокрема це стосується підвищення споживання енергії з відновлюваних джерел, розвиток якого можливо прискорити з упровадженням Індустрії 4.0. Метою дослідження є визначення впливу Індустрії 4.0 на моделювання сценаріїв енергетичного розвитку економік країн, що розвиваються. У ході дослідження використано методи аналізу та синтезу, економіко-статистичного аналізу, графічні методи, метод порівнянь. У результаті дослідження відзначено високий ступінь упливу Індустрії 4.0 на українську економіку, зокрема енергетику. Поза іншим, результатом такого впливу є підвищення енергоефективності. Визначено, що за досліджуваний період енергоспоживання на основі відновлюваних джерел в Україні значно зросло – в 11,5 разів. Окреслено відмінності в енергетичному розвитку України та Китаю, що полягають у виборі Китаю на користь своєї енергетичної незалежності. Зроблено висновок, що вагома роль у сценаріях розвитку енергетики належить розвиткові та впровадженню новітніх технологій. Головна відмінність у сценаріях розвитку енергетики між розвиненими країнами та країнами, що розвиваються, полягає в строках досягнення цілей. Перспективою подальших досліджень має бути формулювання переліку засобів визначення впливу невизначеності на моделювання сценаріїв енергетичного розвитку.

he article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of the strategic development of the sports industry. The peculiarities of the phenomena of the sports product and sports relations have been established. The article examines the role of the sports industry in the conditions of the formation of a new economy. The sports industry is gaining more and more importance in the life of modern society and of every person in particular. Taking into account the fact that the sports industry affects the socio-economic aspect of human life and functions in the conditions of a market economy, it is appropriate, in our opinion, to apply a systematic approach to the development of strategic measures for the management of the sports industry. Information on expenditures for the sports industry from the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019-2021 is provided. The non-financial problems of the sports industry market development are characterized. Considering the conditions of the development of the sports industry, it was determined that during the period of the study the number of sports facilities is decreasing. the analysis shows that the total number of sports facilities decreased by 2,868 units or by 3.1 percent, which is due to the liquidation of sports facilities that are not subject to restoration. The fact that 107 stadiums with grandstands for 1,500 seats and more have been closed is a matter of concern. The number of indoor and semi-open shooting ranges at a distance of at least 25 meters also decreased by 517 units or by 13.5 percent. This is due to a decrease in interest in such sports and their low popularity among Ukrainians. In Ukraine, due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation, 320 sports facilities have already been damaged, 87 of them have been completely or partially destroyed, the amount of losses exceeds 250 million dollars. The list of measures that solve the problems of the development of the sports industry is substantiated. The principles of the development of the sports industry at the state level have been defined. An algorithm for the development of the sports industry has been proven, which involves the active use of certain principles and tools aimed at developing an organizational and economic mechanism for the strategic development of the sports industry, taking into account its features.
