The article examines the features of prevention of cardiovascular diseases in young people. The author notes that cardiovascular diseases are among the most common diseases worldwide and cause a significant number of deaths and disabilities. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in the world, and they account for about 31% of all deaths. Many of the risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases in young patients can be prevented by preventive measures, such as proper nutrition, moderate physical activity, quitting smoking and alcohol consumption, weight and blood pressure control, as well as regular medical examinations. In addition, the popularization of a healthy lifestyle, carried out through lectures, presentations, etc., plays an important role.
