The detailed study devoted to instrumental diagnostic methods of bone tissue research was performed by authors. The main idea which is the basis for this work is the analysis and study of X-ray methods for examining bone tissue, highlighting their advantages. As a result of the work, we analyzed published scientific data in Russian and foreign literary sources, which addresses many instrumental methods of bone tissue research. After experiments a detailed description of the most common research methods related to the study of bone tissue was given, its structure and other functions. Analysis of the modern scientific data has shown that there is a great need to know the instrumental methods for studying human organs and systems, and their more accurate possibilities for identifying pathological processes, which will permit the use of the research method that in any particular case will be the most informative, which would provide timely diagnosis and its accuracy.
Decades ago, implants appeared that were used to restore lost teeth. Improvement work continues to this day. Specialists are interested in increase in the reliability and strength, as well as in the high quality of fusion of implants with living tissue. The article studies scientific approaches to the creation of biocompatible dental materials, considers their types, defines the basic requirements for biocompatible dental materials.
In this article there are presented materials regarding problems of infectious complications, that appear as the result of formation of microbial biofilms, which is especially actual in medical practice nowadays because of wide usage of different invasive materials in surgical and traumatological and orthopedical departments of clinics. Classifications, which are based on works of many authors, of surgical infections are given, and also of pathogens, known nowadays, of which Staphylococcus aureus и S. epidermidis are superior. Stages of process and laboratory-experimental proven time intervals and special features of biofilm’s formation are determined, which points to an importance and perspectivity of prophylaxis of infectious complications at moments of contaminations and primary adhesion. In light of usage in implantational surgery of constantly advancing materials, the contemplation is necessary of biofilmforming features of known pathogenic and opportunistic bacterias and potentially dangerous, in particular, pathogens that lead to generalization of process.
The article is devoted to the consideration of issues related to the organization of prevention of cardiovascular diseases in patients of certain risk groups. According to the researcher, these are preventive measures with their competent implementation that can reduce the risk of morbidity, and also increase the survival of certain groups of patients, especially those suffering from concomitant diseases. Measures in this area should include timely diagnosis of the health status of such patients with their attribution to a certain risk group, as well as the development of an individual plan for drug therapy, diet and physical activity, which should take into account the specifics of the patient’s health. All of the above will contribute to reducing the morbidity of the population with the disease in question and increasing the survival rate of patients suffering from concomitant diseases, since preventive measures will reduce the burden on the cardiovascular system
The article investigates approaches to reducing the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections among elderly patients. According to the author, in comparison with young people, respiratory viral infection in people over 65 years of age is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Elderly patients may have severe lower respiratory tract infections, pneumonia, or exacerbation of chronic multimorbid conditions. Additional problems arise due to the fact that elderly patients often do not have fever or respiratory symptoms, but have atypical symptoms, including weakness, confusion and falls. This leads to a failure in diagnosis, an increase in morbidity, the appointment of additional drugs and further nosocomial spread. Currently, it is necessary to introduce sensitive and rapid diagnostics at the place of medical care to detect all viruses and treat infected elderly patients. This will make it easier to understand the true burden of respiratory viruses. To protect the aging immune system, it is now important to combine this with the development of expanded vaccination strategies and new antiviral therapeutics
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
