The article describes experimental studies on the effectiveness of lighting installations (LI) with light-emitting diodes (LEDs). It is established that LED-based lighting does not cause a negative impact on the organ of vision and the human body as a whole. The changes in the functional parameters of the organ of sight, which occur during the visual performance has the corresponding limits of physiological fluctuations and are reversible. The integral indicators of the efficiency of LED-based lighting were estimated. The practical significance of the results was shown.
The article is devoted to the description of the results of experimental studies evaluating the effectiveness of lighting installations with LEDs. It was found that LED lighting does not cause harmful effects on the visual organ and the human body as a whole. Changes in the functional parameters of the visual organ that occur during visual work are included in the corresponding boundaries of physiological vibrations and are reversible. We estimated the integral indicators of LED lighting efficiency and showed practical significance of the results.
The paper is devoted to the study of the lighting conditions created by the second-generation LED light sources. It has been established experimentally that illumination created by second-generation LEDs does not cause negative effects on human organs of vision and body as a whole. It is shown that changes in the functional parameters of the organs of vision occurring during the performance of visual work fall within the respective limits of physiological fluctuations and are reversible. Integral lighting efficiency indicators of the second generation LEDs by visual performance and the degree of visual fatigue are estimated. The practical significance of the results obtained is shown.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
