A new form, Salix acutifolia f. pendula I. V. Belyaeva, N. Y. Stepanova et O. V. Epanch., is described and its distribution is given. Existing confusion between the names, S. acutifolia ‘Duschanbensis’, S. acutifolia ‘Pendula’, S. acutifolia ‘Moscow Cascade’, S. acutifolia var. duschanbensis and S. acutifolia [unranked] pendula is clarified.
