The Indonesian Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey (Survei Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja Indonesia-SKRRI)h ighlights the lack of knowledge amongst adolescents regarding puberty. Other studies have identified the limited advice from parents, because parents and teachers frequently opt not to discuss experiences related to adolescent reproductive health. This study aims to understand the perception of teachers and students in higher grades with regards to puberty. The study used a qualitative approach, collecting data via in-depth interviews with teachers and students. There were seven informants, consisting of five teachers and two students studying in grade IV-VI from two schools in North Jakarta. The study shows teachers, as well as students, often had only a limited understanding of puberty and considered it a vulgar subject which should not be discussed. Teacher capacity building is needed regarding the material and delivery methods of puberty content. Keywords: puberty, higher grade, elementary school
Kedisiplinan siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Sidamulya yang rendah. Terlihat pada observasi awal hanya 35% dari 25 siswa yang dinyatakan disiplin. mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research) di SD tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kedisiplinan dan prestasi belajar melalui model value clarification technique pada muatan pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar negeri 1 Sidamulya. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 1 pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Sidamulya Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 25 siswa dan objek penelitian ini adalah kedisiplinan dan prestasi belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Data kedisiplinan diperoleh dari lembar Observasi yang di isi oleh observer pada setiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan siswa meningkat dengan menggunakan Model Value Clarification Technique. Peningkatan nilai dan persentase kedisiplinan siswa dari kondisi awal sampai capaian siklus II. Siklus 1 kondisi awal 40 dan 35% dengan target capaian 70 dan 70% hasil capaian siklus I 88,54 dan 100% capaian siklus II meningkat menjadi 95,53 dan 100%. Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum pada kondisi awal 25%, pada siklus I 66%, dan pada siklus II yaitu 84%,sehingga dapat disimpulkan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II mencapai 18%.
Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) Indonesia's results in the last four editions ranked 44 out of 49 countries can show students' low literacy and science process skills. The research aims to develop products by utilizing google sites-based websites to improve students understanding of concepts and science process skills. ADDIE research method with steps of analyzing needs, designing products, developing products, trials and applying development results to students. The instruments used are expert validation instruments and data analysis techniques with triangulation, namely observations, interviews, and tests to see the effectiveness of the product. The validation results of the Material Expert showed a score of 4.3 indicating a very valid category, the Linguist showed a score of 4.46 indicating the category was very valid, the Media Expert showed a score of 4.69 indicating the category was very valid, and the Pedagogy Expert showed a score of 4.54 indicating the category was very valid. The effectiveness rate of this product is quite high, namely 19 students or 82.6% achieved and measured by N-Gain the score is at 0.5 with a moderate category. Aspects of electrical observing skills 82.14% or very high categories, grouping 92.86% very high categories, interpreting an average of 82.14% very high, forecasting average incidence 85.71% very high, formulating hypotheses averaging 89.29 very high, formulating product designs averaging 96.43% very high categories and communicating aspects 78.57% high categories. These results can be concluded that the development of learning resources by utilizing google sites as a learning resource can increase understanding of concepts and encourage students to be actively involved in learning.
The background of this research is that the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) is one of the comprehensive evaluation models carried out in the world of education, and the phenomenon of bullying in elementary schools reinforces the need for strengthening character education, especially now that the covid-19 pandemic is strengthening. Character education is needed, one of which is through thematic learning. The method used in this research is a literature review study. This study uses the critical appraisal method to determine the success of the CIPP evaluation model in the PPK program through thematic learning in the covid-19 pandemic era and to determine the effectiveness of thematic learning in the PPK program in the covid-19 pandemic era.The results of the study show that 1) in maintaining the success of the CIPP evaluation model in the PPK program through thematic learning of the covid-19 pandemic era, a comprehensive evaluation is carried out consisting of; evaluation of the context covering the basis of policies, perceptions of needs and objectives of character education programs, evaluation of inputs which include planning, strategy, organizational structure design, implementation procedures and availability of character education program resources; process evaluation which includes coordination, implementation and supervision of the implementation of character education programs; and product evaluation which includes the achievement and impact of character education programs, 2) in the effectiveness of thematic learning in the covid-19 pandemic era PPK program, namely the implementation of online learning containing character education in the covid-19 season including; course design (course design); learner motivation; time management (time management); and convenience with online technologies (comfortabeness with online technologies).
This research and development produce to develop learning media in the form of the LUKER game (Ludo Keragaman) in PPKn content with socio-cultural diversity material for fifth grade elementary school students. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) is ADDIE model. This study involved one media expert, one material expert, one linguist, three students on fifth grade at SDN Tugu Utara 17 for one to one trial, and twelve students on fifth grade at SDN Tugu Utara 17 for small group trial. Data collection techniques used in the development of this ludo game are interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of this ludo game media trial obtained a score of 85% from media experts, 92.5% from material experts, and 87.5% from linguists. The results of the one-to-one user trial got an average score of 100%, while the small group trial got an average score of 100%. This shows that the LUKER game media obtained a very good score, so that it was declared worthy of being used as a learning media for PPKn theme 8 (Lingkungan Sahabat Kita) for fifth grade elementary school.
