1993 mercaptans, thioethers mercaptans, thioethers (benzene compounds) Q 0580 39 -158 Direct Synthesis of Allyl Sulfides from Allyl Alcohols and Thiols. -Allyl alcohols such as (I) and (IV) are converted into sulfides such as (III) or thiols, e.g. (V), upon treatment with silyl sulfides or thiols in the presence of BF3·OEt2.
