Designed specifically to satisfy the European cellular radio market, the ADSP28msp02 combines 16bit A/D, 16-bit DIA with the appropriate anti-aliasing/ anti-imaging filtering. Fabricated in a VLSI digital process with high linearity poly-poly capacitors, the msp02 contains > lOOK transistors in an area e 54 K sq. mils with a die aspect ratio allowing the part to be assembled in a 24-pin skinny package while running off a single 5V supply. Two versions of the linear codec were fabricated and assembleda monolithic, fully-integrated part and a compound-monolithic, two-chip solution to facilitate investigation into the interaction between the digital and the analog circuitry. Evaluation results indicate that the part meets the requirements of the cellular radio market.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
