In this study, we obtain an approximate solution of the Schrödinger equation in arbitrary dimensions for the generalized shifted Hulthén potential model within the framework of the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The bound state energy eigenvalues were computed and the corresponding eigenfunction was also obtained. It is found that the numerical eigenvalues were in good agreement for all three approximations scheme used. Special cases were considered when the potential parameters were altered, resulting into Hulthén Potential and Woods-Saxon Potential respectively. Their energy eigenvalues expressions agreed with the already existing literatures. A straightforward extension to the s-wave case for Hulthén potential and Woods-Saxon Potential cases are also presented.
Within the framework of Nikiforov-Uvarov method, we obtained an approximate solution of the Schrodinger equation for the Energy Dependent Generalized inverse quadratic Yukawa potential model. The bound state energy eigenvalues for were computed for various vibrational and rotational quantum numbers. Special cases were considered when the potential parameters were altered, resulting into Energy Dependent Kratzer and Kratzer potential, Energy Dependent Kratzer fues and Kratzer fues potential, Energy Dependent Inverse quadratic Yukawa and Inverse quadratic Yukawa Potential, Energy Dependent Yukawa (screened Coulomb) and Yukawa (screened Coulomb) potential, and Energy Dependent Coulomb and Coulomb potential, respectively. Their energy eigenvalues expressions and numerical computations agreed with the already existing literatures.
In this study, the effects of Aharonov-Bohm (AB) and magnetic fields on the thermodynamic and magneto-transport properties of TiH diatomic molecule using the Deng-Fan potential as a model are investigated. The functional analysis approach (FAA) is used to solve the Schrodinger equation in the presence of magnetic and AB fields with Deng-Fan potential. The energy equation, as well as the wave function, have been derived. The analytic expressions for the thermo-magnetic and transport properties of the Deng-Fan potential are derived using the energy equation and the partition function. These properties obtained are thoroughly analysed utilising graphical representations. Our analysis shows that the magnetic susceptibility of the TiH exhibits a diamagnetic behaviour, and the specific heat capacity behaviour agrees with the famous Dulong-Petit law when the system is subjected to AB field variations and a fixed magnetic field. Albeit, a slight anomaly is observed in the behaviour of the specific heat capacity. Our findings will be valuable in various fields of physics, including chemical and molecular physics and condensed matter physics, where the derived models could be applied to study other diatomic molecules and quantum dots, respectively.
In this paper, we solve analytically the Schrodinger equation for s-wave and arbitrary angular momenta with the Hua potential is investigated respectively. The wave function as well as energy equation are obtained in an exact analytical manner via the Nikiforov Uvarov method using two approximations scheme. Some special cases of this potentials are also studied.
