The stability of moulder stroke affects the uniformity compaction of soil ridge. It depends on the mounting system of molder to the frame and the direction of act-ing forces on them. The aim of the study is to analyze the stability stroke of cot-ton seeder molder. The longitudinal stability of molder in a fixed system of coordinate dependency on acting forces on it, as well as its constructive parameters, have been considered. There has been obtained the equation for the determination of angular deviations of leads of parallelogram fastening system from the initial position under the influence of applied to the moulder forces, constructive parameters of sections, and unevenness of soil surface. It has been established that the fluctuation of links of the parallelogram mechanism is mainly influenced by the weight of mass of moulder system, soil resistance forces, the initial angle of links inclination and force pressure of the spring group. The stability of moulders work is ensured mainly by changing due to the changing force pressure of the spring group.
Success in cultivating cotton largely depends on the timing and quality of soil preparation for sowing and sowing, and the latter, in turn, depends on how it is carried out and on the perfect design of the machines. The aim of the study is to justify the shape of the ridges and the parameters of the moulder to the cotton seeder. The authors proposed a new technology for sowing with the simultaneous formation of ridges. The shape and parameters of the ridge are theoretically substantiated. When performing the shape of the ridge in the form of an isosceles trapezoid and, accordingly, with a height and width of the ridge surface of at least 100 mm and 160 mm, the seed bed is protected from flooding by rain streams. The design of the developed comb moulder to a cotton seeder for the implementation of the proposed technology is given. Theoretically substantiated the main parameters of the crest moulder. It was found that when the input edge of the moulder is 290-320 mm wide, the output edge is 160 mm, the angle of inclination of the side blade to the direction of movement is 20°, the length of the runner of the moulder is 203-215 mm, the height of the side blade is 100 mm and the angle of installation of the side blade to horizon 42-45° ensures highquality implementation of the technological process of formation of ridges. When sowing cotton seeds on the ridges with the simultaneous formation of the ridge, the seedlings of the plants increase, and the cotton yield increases compared to the smooth sowing method of 9.9%.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the parameters of a two-tier plow for plowing soil from under cotton. The basic principles and methods of classical mechanics, mathematical analysis and statistics were used in this study. The effects of the cotton field relief on the tillage and traction resistance of a two-tier plow were studied theoretically and experimentally. Analytical expressions are obtained for determining the uniformity of the course, the load of the bodies and the center of resistance of the plow, depending on its main parameters and the roughness of the relief of the cotton field. It is established that serial two-tier plows, due to the discrepancy between their width of the gripper and the width of the row spacing, do not meet the requirements of agricultural technology: the plowing depth is not stable, the coefficient of variation of the plowing depth reaches 16% for a trailed plow, and for a mounted plow - 25.8%; the transverse direction of the plough the bottom of the furrow turns out to be stepped; the value of the traction resistance changes at each pass of the plow. To improve the quality of plowing fields from under cotton, a new plowing method has been developed, carried out by a two-tier plow, the width of which is a multiple of the width of the row spacing of cotton. The width of the plow bodies is equal to half the width of the row spacing.
