The use of diazo compounds in the transition‐metal‐catalyzed coupling reactions to form C−C and C−X (X=O, S, N, Si, P etc.) bonds have been a well established approach in organic synthesis. In this context, various transition metals such as Pd, Cu, Rh, Ni, Co, Fe, Ir etc. have proved useful to generate a metal‐carbene intermediate which subsequently undergoes carbene transfer or insertion to form C−C, C−Si or C‐heteroatom bonds. However, the use of most abundant, cheaper and environmentally benign metal such as iron to catalyze carbene‐transfer reactions has attracted considerable attention in the last few years. Iron is the second most abundant transition metal in nature and also an integral part of various biological systems which make it highly valuable to use as a catalyst in organic chemistry. This review summarizes the efforts made after 2013 in the area of iron‐catalyzed chemical and enzymatic carbene‐transfer reactions using diazo compounds as carbene precursor.
Image processing is the method for processing various kinds of images, processed images can be stored conveniently and transmission of such kind of images from one place to another place becomes easy to the user. By using image compression method we are able to represent the image with lesser number of bits. By using image compression technique we can reduce the bandwidth and the volume of the data to be transmitted. Different types of images can be processed and we can reduce blocking artifacts up to acceptable level. Some standard techniques MPEG and JPEG are used in image processing field. Some other types of images like GIF, JPG and PNG are used. Lossless compression is used for medical image compression because whole information is necessary for analysis; even a single bit loss is not bearable. Lossy image compression technique is used in photographic images because loss of bits is bearable. When we compress any kind of image by lossy type of image compression technique then there will be loss of bits, and when we want to recover such kind of image then we face problem of blurring of images, which is sometimes called as the annoying problem of blocking artifacts. To recover original image back we can use decompression followed by the different filtering methods. We can compare these filtering techniques on the basis of the MATLAB simulation results. Various Parameters can be compared like PSNR, MSE and BER.
Cloud computing permits facilitating of various administrations on various datacenters where assets are designated to clients on request. It utilizes the concept of virtualization for working online, on the grounds that without virtualization cloud computing is inefficient and not adaptable. Load balancing is a method that distribute the workload among different nodes in the given environment such that it no node in the system is overloaded .The different conventional load balancing techniques not performed well and they doesn't consider SLA quality of service parameters while choosing virtual machine for relocation. Many other issues are likewise associated with migration process like number of migration, utilization of resources, response time and memory. So there is have to grow new approach for load balancing in data centers using VM algorithms that beat the issues in customary methodologies and enhance their execution. So the hybrid approach utilizing different strategies like Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed in this paper. This paper defeat the issue of stagnation in ACO-VMM system. The outcomes are mimicked in cloudsim environment.
Image compression is a technique to reduce the volume of information to be transmitted. Compression technique reduces the bandwidth and the volume of the information to be transmitted. We can compress audio signal, video signal, text, fax and images. For medical images lossless compression is used and for other types lossy compression can be used. For compressing an image we can use the DCT technique. But after compression during decompression and recovering original image from compressed image we can face problem of blocking artifacts. Various methods can be used for removing blocking artifacts. One of them is DCT filtering. Further for getting better results we can remove blocking artifacts by spatial and hybrid filtering method. Our experimental results shows that hybrid filtering gives better performance on the bases of better PSNR, BER and MSE.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
