The childhood schizophrenia project at Ittleson Center is applying a great many-experimental and observational procedures to schizophrenic children and to matched experimental controls. Longitudinal, as well as cross-sectional, data are being collected in the fo llowing broad areas: (a) motor and postural, (b) perceptual, (c) cognitive and intellectual, (d) speech and communication, (e) family interaction and family role perception.
