Risk of type 1 diabetes at 3 years is high for initially multiple and single Ab+ IT and multiple Ab+ NT. Genetic predisposition, age, and male sex are significant risk factors for development of Ab+ in twins.

La presente investigación describe la implementación de las adecuaciones curriculares y ajustes razonables para la inclusión educativa en el nivel universitario de la ciudad de Caacupé. La metodología utilizada corresponde a un diseño no experimental, con un enfoque cualitativo, y las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la entrevista semiestructurada y el análisis documental. Los participantes de este estudio fueron coordinadores y docentes universitarios de dos instituciones educativas correspondientes al tercer nivel del sistema educativo paraguayo: educación superior. Cabe destacar que además se analizaron documentos de las universidades en cuestión y para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizó la técnica de análisis temático. Los principales hallazgos arrojan que las dos universidades públicas y privadas de Caacupé implementan las adecuaciones y ajustes de manera aún incipiente Los docentes universitarios reconocen que se encuentran inmersos en el proceso de atención a la diversidad, que existen normativas que guían el proceso, que las adecuaciones de acceso, es decir de infraestructura son las más aplicadas, pero dichos elementos resultan todavía insuficientes. Sostienen que para lograr una educación superior de calidad y que se ajuste a los requerimientos locales e internacionales, el enfoque inclusivo debe ser un eje fundamental a través de las diversas adecuaciones o ajustes, pero en el planeamiento docente no se ven evidencias explícitas del proceso.

Assistance to medical services and clinical outcomes was transformed to categorically variables, Fisher's Exact test was used to determine the difference between groups. STATA V13.0 software was used to analyze data. Results: Observed clinical adherence of health care providers to the local clinical guidelines showed a global ratio of 43%. There were statistically significant differences between HbA1c, Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Clinical follow-up associated with patient's attendance to follow-ups with the Nutritionist, the Physician, the Internist, and the Ophthalmologist, in most of the cases. ConClusions: There is an important association between metabolic control and attendance to clinical services, which aid to conclude about its increased importance. However, the observed 43% of adherence to the Colombian Diabetes Guidelines, must be regarded with the utmost care for the very particular structure of the Colombian health insurance system. Specifically, such percentage can be affected by external processes experienced by the patient or simply due to the physicians' praxis. Hence, the upturn in the attendance frequency to specialists may cause an improvement in metabolic results, in consequence, lowering the hospitalization rates.
