Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning menggunakan media simulasi PhET (Physics Education Technology) terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa pada materi elastisitas di SMA Negeri 10 Palembang tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent Control Group pretest-postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Pengambilan sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan mengambil dua kelas yaitu XI MIA 1 sebanyak 36 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIA 5 sebanyak 36 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pemahaman konsep berupa pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal dengan lima option. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan taraf nyata α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model discovery learning menggunakan media simulasi PhET (Physics Education Technology terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa di SMA Negeri 10 Palembang yang ditunjukkan dengan thitung 7,255 > ttabel 1,667.
This study aims to analyze the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the conceptual understanding of high school students assisted by tracker software on simple harmonic vibration (GHS) material. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a Quasi Experiment design type Posttest Only Control Design. The population in this study were all class X SMA Pembina Palembang which consisted of 2 classes. The sampling technique used saturated sampling because all members of the population were sampled in this study. Class X IPA 1 as an experimental class applied Discovery Learning model assisted by tracker software and class X IPA 2 as a control class applied Discovery Learning model. The data collection technique used a concept understanding essay test instrument as many as 10 questions. The results showed that the mean understanding of the concept of the experimental class students was average = 84.90 and the control class was average= 74.08. The results of the right-side hypothesis test are tcount ââ°Â¥ ttable, which is 7,567 ââ°Â¥ 1,653. This means that Ha is accepted. Then the conclusion is that physics learning by applying the Discovery Learning model assisted by tracker software on simple harmonic vibration (GHS) material has an influence on the conceptual understanding of high school students rather than using a learning model without being balanced with learning media.
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis discovery learning berbantuan software tracker yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan tahap pengembangan model Rowntree yang memuat tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi, yang menggunakan evaluasi formatif Tessmer (1998) meliputi expert review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, dan field test. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas X IPA SMA Shailendra Palembang. Berdasarkan tahap expert rewiew tingkat kevalidan produk LKPD melalui aspek materi, aspek desain, dan aspek bahasa pembelajaran diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 87,08% dengan katagori sangat valid. Tahap one to one memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,31% dengan katagori sangat praktis. Tahap small group memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 90,6% dengan katagori sangat praktis dan berdasarkan nilai hasil pretest-postest peserta didik diperoleh nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,66 dengan katagori sedang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis discovery learning berbantuan software tracker sangat valid, sangat praktis, serta memilki efek potensial bagi peserta didik yaitu dengan bukti meningkatnya pemahaman konsep Fisika peserta didik. ABSTRACT This study aims to develop discovery learning-based worksheets with the help of tracker software that are valid, practical, and have potential effects to improve students' conceptual understanding. This type of research is research and development using the Rowntree model development stage which includes the planning stage, development stage, and evaluation stage, which uses Tessmer's (1998) formative evaluation including expert review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field tests. The subject of this research is class X IPA SMA Shailendra Palembang. Based on the expert review stage, the level of LKPD product validity through material aspects, design aspects, and learning language aspects obtained an average value of 87.08% with a very valid category. The one to one stage obtained an average score of 81.31% in the very practical category. The small group stage obtained an average score of 90.6% in the very practical category and based on the students' pretest-posttest scores, an average N-gain value of 0.66 was obtained in the medium category. So it can be concluded that discovery learning-based worksheets with the help of tracker software are very valid, very practical, and have potential effects for students, namely with evidence of increasing students' understanding of physics concepts. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD Berbasis Discovery Learning Berbantuan Software Tracker untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Babat Supat yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial. Peneliti ini menggunakan metode Reseach and Development (R&D) model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data pada peneliti ini menggunakan validasi, kepraktisan, dan efek potensial. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 di SMA Negeri 2 Babat Supat. Berdasarkan analisis data dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek terhadap peserta didik adapun hasil 1) expert review diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari ketiga ahli sebesar 96% yang dikategorikan sangat valid; 2) one to one memperoleh nilai rata-rata 92% yang dikategorikan sangat praktis; 3) small group memperoleh nilai rata-rata 96% dikategorikan sangat menarik; 4) field test memperoleh nila rata-rata pre test sebesar 24% dan post test 84% dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk yang dikembangakan peneliti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik.
This study aims to produce LKPD products based on Discovery Learning assisted by Software Tracker to improve understanding of the concepts of class X students at SMA Sriguna Palembang that are valid, practical, and have a potential effect on understanding concepts. This study uses a modified Rowntree development model based on formative evaluation. The subjects used in this research are students of class X IPA 2 SMA Sriguna Palembang, as many as 34 students. This research produces: 1) LKPD based on Discovery Learning assisted by Software Tracker which is valid. Based on the research results, the average results of material aspects are 81.33%, learning design aspects are 80% and language aspects are 80%, 2) practicality test results in the one to one stage obtained an average of 93% with a very practical category, 3) the results of the practicality test at the small group stage obtained an average of 87.62% with a very practical category, 4) the field test stage obtained the highest N-Gain value by 64.70% in the high category and the lowest N-Gain value is 35.29% in the medium category.ÃÂ
